Beautiful video; I am doing some winter camping soon and will be trying your pinecone firestarter method along with others. Thanks again for a wonderful time!
What a beautiful video, and jazz accompaniment! It’s been a few years since I’ve made the family’s candles -this comes at the perfect time (autumn). Gifts for the feast tables and ring prizes as well. As ever, you do lovely work, thank you (subscribed).
so glad i’ve found today these lovely videos of yours! one quick question if you don’t mind lately i have been considering similar candle making endeavors for me the only point in question being what material to choose( mostly thinking in either tallow or beeswax or a possible crossbreed of said materials ) but the different qualities (smoke, odor, longevity) intimidate me... if you have the time and insight please enlighten me, i’d greatly appreciate it! have a lovely day and keep the good work going you have a great channel! edit: i apparently can’t write apologies
If you have money, use beeswax. If you have less money - mix beeswax with tallow (they will also burn longer). If you just want make them cheep - use tallow. You can also try to make them smell better by adding essencial oil, but I've never tryed how tallow with essencial oils smell. ;) And thank you for your kind words. :)
wow wasn’t expecting to get a reply that fast! :) thank you i will certainly heed your advice (probably half and half of tallow and the beeswax) thank you again have a lovely rest of your day!:D

Lovely videos! Can you share more about the candle lantern? I love how bright it became when you lowered the lit candle. 💚
Thank you. The lantern is made from wood and raw hide.
Ale masz przytulnie :)
Staram się mieć. Zwłaszcza teraz.
