- Doing the typical spring time work cleaning up after winter damage to fence and roads. Every year for the last 24 I've done this type of thing prior to Hay seasons. THEN mix in Firewood during this time of year. When Fall comes back around back to harvesting timber. MIGHT do a load late spring/early summer like last year. We will see
Love my 451e,cuts like a 50+ cc saw,
I've been restoring a 451EV, can't wait to finish the rebuild and run it. Your video has reinspired me.
I like seeing your vintage saws❤❤ .My Dad bought a Jonsered 455 new mid 80s. It had heated handle bar, exhaust ran through the top handle by turning a screw with scrench.
Nice light saw, then my brother in-law borrowed it and burned up the motor running dull scorched it.
Old logger then told me " 2 things that you never let anyone borrow your chainsaw and you're wife" 😢💩. It was one of the few
things left that Dad had used.

Thanks again 👍
Hard to beat those Ole 61s.
Walt do you have any 2051 and 2055s the hotrod versions with the full circle cranks? It's really awesome to see these old school saws getting some trigger time and the love they deserve, would love to see you do a video on a 2055 or 2051, that 455 sounds better than some of my new saws!!!😊
No, sorry;; got rid of them years ago, the "layer cake" jonsereds :)
Was there full circle cranks on saws already back then? I have three 2055 and one 2054. They all start but only one 2055 runs good currently.
I had one of the 2055:s apart and that one has a regular crank.
And yes, they all leak baroil on the front... So I need to store them empty.
Shure look like echos with same displacement
