She is a very.... colorful, owl.
It is fortunate that she has a serious case of the Forgors. However, it appears to not affect her capacity to remember when someone has wronged her, much like her species' rival, the Corvids, she will never forget.
Oh, this one! Yeah, Mumei is the one you'd least expect at first to be into stuff like metal and horror, but when you see her be all calm and collected while Kronii (who you'd expect to not be phased) absolutely lose it during one of their horror game collabs you know she's the most unflappable member. XD
If you have any doubts as to how metal Mumei is, just look at literally anything she draws. O_o

I am new to this Vtuber thing as well... Mumei was the first one I watched... slowly... I have been won over by all of hololive council and myth... they are all talented and brilliant... but each one is distinctly different from the other in their talents and comedy.
A group of truly talented people chasing and obtaining what they deserve. They have motivated me to try learning Japanese and fight back against several medical issues I recently had let beat me down... been chasing some of my own dreams thanks to them collectively.
Wholesome moment, glad they've inspired you. I've seen a surprising amount of people who admit they'd wouldnt be alive if not for Hololive, I feel like they do a lot more than just entertain people and are underappreciated in this regard.
Mumei's character lore is that she's the divine Guardian of Civilization - and they couldn't have chosen a better person for that job.
She's an eerily accurate representation of the concept of Civilization. She seems comfy and wholesome most of the time, but can flip to creepy and scary at the drop of a hat, often following objectively sinister goals with innocent glee. While multi-talented herself, she mostly shines when she has something or someone to interact with, and her mere presence can inspire others to act on her behalf. She's also a bit of an airhead, forgetting things or solving problems in an unnecessarily complicated way - to then refuse other's better solutions. And she likes to mess with people in the most underhanded way, or by simply refusing to play along, just to see what happens. Like her standard response when she's told she can't do something: "Try me! :D"
Conversely they'll sometimes play into others banter in unexpected ways like:
"Im going to strangle you!"
"Maybe later"
"Oh okay....what?!"
Or
"I'll never hit you, too precious"
"Do it you coward, hit me!"

Ahh yes you woulddnt know on a first listen but Munei and Gura are a [erfect pair that share the same braincells. The same kind of fandoms love them.
This comp cut out all the savage parts of her for some reason but trust me shes pretty savage even when holding ehrself back.

I think the video is well edited but I also think they left out some of the fundamental clips that established her as being "metal" in the first place. Perhaps might've been assumed people already knew them, but I think it didn't come across as well as a result.

Great edits by the original video clipper, but he totally missed her METAL side. Seriously, check out her art streams. That, and the relationship she has with Kronii are some amazing content. 99% wholesome with the 1% Harley Quinn mental ambiguity that sneaks in at the most unexpected times.
I’d say she’s the female version of Vanoss, why?
1) she’s an owl RUclipsr
2) she likes to troll around with her friends
3) she’s pretty edgy (though Vanoss is really edgy)
4) they both have their “Lui’s” (for Mumei it’s Takane Lui and for Vanoss it’s Lui Calibre)

the edits are funny... but they also kinda kill the intended joke sometimes.
Like, the edits are way funnier if you know who she is. But for new viewers, they can be very misleading.
Also, these clips hardly showed her darker side.
Mumei is bestest and I approve of any rea tion involving her. And there's plenty that this video didn't touch upon.

Gotta say, that selection of clips leaves some to be desired. No Mumei art clips, for one.
