Not a fan of The Candy Apples, but this dance was absolutely beautiful, and it did the number no justice at all receiving Fourth place. This was a first place dance.

I agree I'd say the reason they were 4th was because the judges probs didn't understand I mean it's a love son it should have been a duet that's just my opinion I mean I can't stop watching this

This really didn't make sense as a group number. If it had been staged as a duet it most probably would have won.
it was actually based on the book and movie The fault in our stars, if you read the book or watched the movie it makes sense but in my opinion it would have been better with only one girl or have the other one dressed differently !

Abbey should stop tuning boy dancers. The boys from Candy Apple's are brilliant. I haven't seen this season yet so when I see it I want to see her swallow her words.
Also understand that they must be competitive but all the choreographers and moms and teachers talking crap about kids and trying to break the kids from other studios down is nothing short of pathetic. Love the show, but yeah they're kids.

And Lucas and that girl with the mask had trouble with the first lift and she used her feet to come up so she was probsmarked down for that and the technique was a bit messy

That girl had lung cancer. So she'd have to wear those to help her breathing. Go watch read TFIOS if you're confused.
Their timing was spot on
Again Cathy's carefully crafted plan to show up Abby shows the world just what an ass she can be. She's gathered the most remarkable young dancers and flies choreographers in from across the country but that's not enough for her. She has to take it not one but two steps too far. This was an intimate piece of music and should have been a duet and not an opportunity to showcase the entire company.
