I put this on my 2014 Ultra Limited and changed the cams, headers, slip on and air intake. I am very happy with the cobra. I have had a power commander and thundermax and the Cobra has worked the best thus far.
Thanks Lemmy, I have watched this and have ordered the Fi2000 for my bike and installed in 30 min on my bike. Right away I seen a change in the bike this morning riding to work. Thanks again for the video.
I recently added one to my 13 Street Glide and it was probably one of the easiest hookups I've done. I had this thing on in 15 minutes. I have changed out my mufflers, added a screamin eagle heavy breather, got rid of cats and this thing kept my bike running optimal. There is zero backfire, acceleration is smooth through the entire gear system. This thing isn't going to give you any extra power or make your bike run any different than stock performance, but what it does do is keep everything running optimal as it did at stock setup, no matter what you do to it. I am satisfied with it ... I looked at it like this ... a single dyno for a 6 speed transmission will run about 600 buxx ... so for 500, I can buy this thing and switch out pretty much anything to find the config I like, without having to dyno at every hardware change. Good Stuff!
Put this on my 2012 Heritage a few years ago. Caused bike to surge going up even slight inclines. Called Cobra they told me how to adjust the tuner (why not include that in the instruction???). Made it a bit better but still surged pretty bad on the big hills. Didn't do anything for the popping, spuddering of pipes. Cobra said it wouldn't help that. Wasn't an easy install either, had to run wires underneath to O2 sensors, hard to get fingers in there to disconnect and connect. Removed and put on V&H fuel pak. No surging. Pipes do still pop and spudder. Wasted money on the Cobra. If you don't have hills might be good - it did provide more power, could definitely tell a difference, just didn't like the surging up the hills..
I used this on my 2010 Ultra Classic Limited. Easy install only I found was when starting it would take a extra turn of the motor to start. No big deal Bike always run good with this installed. When I traded in the 2010 for a 2014 I removed the Powrpro bike ran good and sold the powrpor on Ebay. Got a new one for my 2014 again easy install bike always runs very good.
Many of these post come from individuals that are clueless on anything mechanical on their motorcycle. The correct unit for your bike with the CORRECT installation will result in correct operation. My softail runs correctly whether I am riding at sea level or at 6000 ft. The increase in power will come at the cost of increase in fuel consumption. That is how horsepower works. You can dynotune for power or reliability. A little is better then lean for reliability. If you don’t know what you are doing, have no real understanding of air fuel ratio, leave it to those who do.
i ran the original with the 3 manual adjustments on my 1800 vtx. the bike ran like a raped ape. i bought a 2010 road king and went with the new self adjusting fuel processor. and have swapped a couple different slip ons and v&h true duals. it has adjusted to everything i changed resulting in no changes. it always runs great. once it adjusts to your driving it just fills in the parameters and makes the adjustments. then bang it works. i have friends with those power commanders, etc. they spent more time on a dyno, hooked to a computer, adjust this, adjust that and hundreds later no better than my bike performance. they even ask how did i get it to run so good. when i tell them they get pissed. i just say you should have done the research. and save some cash. it doesn't even require the o2 sensors plugged in. but i did it anyway. no difference. i'm totally convinced and impressed. first i thought it was gonna be another gimmick. not so. well worth the money and less hassle.
Sure hate to have a lot of money invested in a dyno. Dyno's are done with this technology plus the cost of devices like these are only going to become cheaper with all the competition out there. Can't wait!!!
i ran this on a 2010 road king with true dual head pipes. v&h big radius baffles removed and added big city thunder baffles. man now this bike sounds bad ass. big city is different. it has the lollypop but it also is attached to a smaller piece of pipe which reduces the inside diameter smaller as well. i used a ring terminal wire connector on a bolt instead of all that welding crap. just crimp it on the bolt. but i say go big city there is a difference. not cheap though. you could get a small piece of pipe that fits the inside of the 1 3/4 head pipe and make the same thing. if you restrict the exhaust too much it will push oil out of the breather hoses on the air cleaner and drip out. don't make too much back pressure and use a high flow air filter. k&n element.
How hard is this to install on a 2022 Honda fury? First time motorcycle rider/owner. Let go of my 18 mustang Gt mt82 and got this as a cheaper alternative as far as toys go. Will be. Doing first service through Honda then installing exhaust with this. Just wanted an idea if this is something I can do with minimal knowledge on a motorcycle. Thanks in advance!
Thinking about buying this but before I do, just a question. I have a 15 Street Glide Special and just added Cobra head pipes, Cobra Power Flo air cleaner and V&H Slash round slip-ons. To save the cost of the dyno, i had the HD dealer do a download after they installed the new components. I don't feel like there is much more power if any, will adding this power pro increase my power? Thank you.
The PowrPro might increase your power. However, for less money, I'd recommend the much more capable Vance and Hines Fuelpak FP3. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-fuelpak-fp3-autotuner-for-harley-2011-2017
Hello Lemme I bought this for my 2015 Vrod Muscle. It has Bassani 4" slipons and a K&N filter. I am supposed to be receiving it in the mail from Parts Giant. I am very loyal to Revzilla but for only 200 bucks I fig give it a shot instead of dumping $500 on the Power Pro.After reading your comments from your subscribers I wonder if I screwed up buying it.
If you have more extensive mods and engine work like cams, we recommend using the Dynojet Power Commander V because it gives you more control over the map, and tuners generally have the most experience with it. -TeamZilla AJ *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dynojet-power-commander-v
Just installed one on my VTX1800. I've been having problems with the app, so is it working even if I can't monitor anything? The red light stays on while the bike is running, but there is no bluetooth connection, even with the app permissions allowed, and the OS on my phone up to date.
The tuner is still doing it job if that’s part of your question. As far as the blue tooth goes that might be on your phone end, maybe not up to date ??
The guy literally said his OS is up to date! OS " operating system " this is the phone's system software or firmware if you will. Please read the entire question, before giving advice!
MY 2 CENTS.. recent 2000FI install on 2008 xl 1200 custom. cobra baffles in gutted stock pipes (long story) Kuryakin high flow AF. Unit does not look like pictured in vid. Unit is model that eliminates O2 sensors. Cobra shipped it with 3 2 2 pot settings. Cobra instructions contradictory and call to tech. support didnt help. Paperwork says shipped with initial settings appropriate for a stock xl1200. Other "guidance" said shipped assuming pipes /AF upgrades. Whatever.... It's installed and set at 3 4 4 based on some trial and error. Bike idles and runs great.. seems even snappier than I expected. MPH down some but it's so much fun, I've been running the piss out of it in 3 4 5 gear. Like all electronjcs, who knows how long it'll go. Cool and dry will help. Anyone with similar bike and setup wanna weigh in on their three numbers? I just bumped up until no noticeable perf. improvement
It does not lower the idle. With the Vance & Hines FP3, you can adjust idle speed via the Idle Spark Control Gain/Max settings. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/38moF9A
I have a 2001 ultra classic .i put this unit on my bike and then i had a miss. took the unit off the miss went away. can anybody tell me why or what the problem might be.
Your bike is an m&m injected bike I promise this won't work. Very little does. I would love to see this on a dyno to see what it does to the afr's. It didn't connect to the ecu so guessing it doesn't have little to control over the ignition table. If that's true then this is actual junk, which I would suspect it is anyway.

yes no doubt. i had a 1800 vtx and it defiantly made a big difference with the cobra exhaust. there is a guy that knows how to change the engine to have that harley sound. you strip off all that emission crap. then lift the rocker boxes and tie them up to the backbone. then there are 2 reed valves one on each head. you make block off gaskets and install them. i also added a ram air cleaner when its done man what a difference. i had street sweepers and the guy i rode with asked me how did i get that tugboat sound out of it. he said it sounded like a real v twin and he always rode on my left. he said he couldn't ride on the right or he would go deaf. and that was with baffles. read this. its what i did to my honda. copy and paste to address bar. tech.bareasschoppers.com/engine/vtx-1800-desmog/
