Yep ,had my HSV Grange converted to manual Tremec Magnum F after auto troubles built twice, LS1 built by Sams Performance cut a long story short 453 Kw 993 Nm. 3.73 gear Mal Wood for the Tremec
I have a Ve ute, built the motor twice, wasn't told to change the harmonic balancer, id already put a genuine GM one on. Both motors developed vibration around 1000km. Put a Fluidampr on, solved. If you're changing to manual it's even more important.
Try BTR cams and upgrades I got a stage 3 cam in my Ls1 with supporting mods underdrive kit Otr and full exhaust kit made 323 at the wheels. There cams are no joke
It does and doesn’t the engine will always make the amount it does but as far as driveline transfer it will read and feel higher just because the mechanical leverage on the driveline, same reason a car with shorter diff gears feels and seems faster with the same engine
Changing diff gears does not make more power. It just moves the power curve
On a roller dyno it tends to read higher as much as you are correct it doesn’t change actual power output just measured as it’s a leverage measurement
Love it bro! We need more!

How much does a manual conversion cost for labour not including parts ??wanting to get one done for my vx ss

Yeah I reckon its got much more in it, 323 Is Super Solid Numbers ,
Didn’t think diff gears would make a difference in power

Getting rid of those garbage cats will give u a good gain. Replace it with some straight threw 2.5 inch pipe
Also a good suggestion might even see if that translates on the dyno would be good to know
so 20-30 rwks ? nb nb
Happy with the result
Sub 59 - keep it up guys
Thanks mate really appreciate the support :)
So nobody knows anything about the car really, just basically shitting on an auto transmission that's clearly fucked.
At the end of this video yes which is annoying because a good auto Vs manual would have been much more helpful for content and education
@@RIDLEYSAUTOMOTIVE Yeah, because depending on your goal an auto can be an excellent choice. Not to mention the engineering.

100% I have a T400 Twin turbo LS Ute and I wouldn’t ever go manual over how good it works
