The dream of Communist utopia has failed in every economy (unless it's done in very small economies), because the pride and arrogance of the belief in Communist ideology among Communist leaders ends up negating the entire basis of the socialist ideology over time. The result is the rise of authoritarian demagogues, and replacement of the old bourgeois with a new entitled one who falsely claim to be the saviors of the proletariat. From Stalin to Mao, the result is evident. Then the convenient argument of "Oh but that wasn't real communism" is taken.
Capitalism in its core ideologically is biased towards capitalists (Which is not the majority of people). So that evolved capitalism you talked about has the same core ideology which is exploitative towards other classes of society.
