@@FromScratchBakery the white/gray-ish block closest to you at 13:15 is clay. Mine it, put it in a furnace to smelt it.
Also, you can use the bamboo as a fuel for the furnace, so you don't need coal, although it doesn't last as long as coal does so you'd need a lot of bamboo. Good thing, you got lots of it around you AND bamboo grows super fast too
Flower pots are 3 bricks in a U shape
Pottery is four bricks in a circle (you can customize them with pottery shards from archeology) they don’t hold flowers but you can put flower pots on top and it looks nice.
You can also make yellow wood from the bamboo

the way i screamed when you said that people told you to feed the parrot a cookie 😭😭😭 genuinely, this has become one of my favourite series!! i love seeing someone get into minecraft and learn everything about the game. there's this sense of wonderment that we all lost the more that we played, that we forget that it's beautiful and so awe-inspiring until something new comes along. watching you play this reminds me of discovering everything you can do and everything you can see

Hey Alice, if you don't want to deforest your jungle, all that bamboo is a cheap source of wood. They grow pretty quick, but plank production is halved per bamboo block. So a regular wood block would produce 4 planks, a bamboo block (9 bamboo) makes 2 bamboo planks.
You can also use 6 bamboo + 1 string to make scaffolding.
2 bamboo = 1 stick
also you can use bamboo to breed more pandas!

That structure that you have encountered with the cobblestone and stuff is called the jungle temple. The levers, when in the right combination, it will open a small little hole which has two chests inside. You don't HAVE to complete the puzzle, you can just break in.

No! Cookies are toxic for parrots in Minecraft! You can feed them any kind of seeds. NO COOKIES.
You actually can put flowers and saplings into flower pots, you just need to gather some clay (the light grey, almost white powder found underneath the water) and smelt it in the oven, then craft the pot :3
I'm going to convince myself that the parrot didn't die, it just teleported itself to heaven from the joy at being given a cookie.

5:43 Practical tip:
If you want to move items from one place to another faster (for example from your inventory to chest, furnace, crafting table etc.), hold left Shift. It automatically moves items for you, so you don't have to drag it manually with your mouse.

Howdy!! Just here to give some general, non spoilery tips!
* Amethyst is used to create a spyglass and tinted glass, which prevents light from getting in.
* you CAN make parrots dance, you just require a jukebox and a music disc
* There is a rare color of pandas that spawn in brown.
* Cats require raw fish, and no longer spawn as ocelots like what youve seen. Cats now spawn in villages.
* Stripping a log happens when you right click on a log with an axe, and is only used for visual reasons. You can still turn it to regular planks. :)
* Those things that kept you from dying from fall damage are vines, and can be climbed on just like ladders can.
* The heart of the sea allows you to craft an item called an conduit. The conduit when placed correctly grants buffa like haste, night vision, and water breathing.
* Those underwater mobs are called the drowned, not all of them spawn with things they can throw at you, but if they do they have a small chance to drop a trident. They are basically underwater zombies. :)
* Jungle temples have chest in them and traps, they usually have some loot and can occasionally have diamonds!
* You can dye glass by just combining it with any dye, which you can get from flowers and other methods such as ink sacs and cocoa beans. You can also make glass planes which are smaller in thickness by combining several glass blocks together in a crafting table.

Amethyst can also be used with the armor trims you got. Same with diamonds, emeralds, gold, lapis, copper, red stone, iron, netherite, quartz, and resin
You can also duplicate armour trim with diamonds and the appropriate materials.
ALSO: Zombies turn into Drowneds if they stay underwater long enough.
Forgot to mention that conduits need a ring of prismarine around them to be activated
Also glass planes are highly recommended since you get 16 planes from 6 glass blocks, and make your build have more dimensions
A heart of the sea can be used to craft a conduit, which lets you breathe underwater!
Parrots dance when they are next to a jukebox thats playing music. Also do not sleep in the nether or the end, the beds explode and will instakill. People actually use the bed explosions to mine in the nether for ancient debris. If you put a block between yourself and an explosion the damage is reduced by a ton.
Edit: People also use the exploding beds in the end to kill the boss, if you dont know what it is I wont spoil it
If you're wondering - this is true. Although it's hard for newbies to get jukeboxes, because you need diamonds.

If you want parrots to dance, you play music near them

Don't trust them! This will also kill your parrot from the loud noises!

- Armor trims make your armor break easier, there's is a price for aesthetic..
- There's a way you can tame, a cat near the village you just have to kill, its owners first! In this case the whole village.
Here’s a tip, you can grab items quicker by double tapping then, You can also craft easier if you grab the item, and right click drag them into the crafting slot :)
Ocelots, which is the cat you saw are no longer tameable from my knowledge. To get a cat you will have to find a village, though you will need to sneak and approach slowly as they are skittish and will run if you move too fast. Just feed them fish and don't scare them off, then you’ll be golden.
They also only eat raw fish
Ocelots are proud creatures... They prefer to hunt alone.
You can't tame them like wolves or cats or....well, parrots, but if you breed 2 ocelots and leash the baby and take it home, when it grows up, it won't run from you like a wild ocelot will. Same thing with foxes.
Or just aggressively chase them with cod until they love you.

Why does Alice have the coolest Minecraft seed? Pandas, jungle temple that gave her armor trim, exposed mineshaft/ geode/ lush cave, shipwreck that gave her armor trim, ocelots, and she missed it but also rusty wolves all in her backyard!

alice! you should make a spyglass!! it lets you zoom in, and see things clearly. it’s made from 2 smelted pieces of copper called copper ingots, and a piece of amethyst. amethyst geodes spawn underground, and you can find them in caves or just mining around. it would be a fun goal if the series continues!
Edit: didn’t realize you found a geode! if you mine a full grown amethyst cluster, it’ll drop shards to make a spyglass

Bamboo + string makes scaffolding, which is one of the biggest game changers to how you can play, i totally switched up so many tactics and started surviving far longer. Its also amazing for building

In the snapshots before parrots were added, you could breed parrots with cookies.
There was mass protest against this feature with concerns that children would try to feed cookies to real parrots, which would make them sick.
So Mojang updated the feature such that cookies kill the parrots and seeds breed them instead.

If you double-click an item, it will stack all of that item together so you can take things out of chests faster
Press ctrl to run or press W twice and if you try running in water you'll swim faster
To get a pet cat give it raw fish(you can get from killing with a sword or using a fishing rod) and standing still holding the raw fish until the cat comes up to you
You can get a pet dog by feeding it bones you can get bones in many ways(killing a skeleton, chests, bone blocks, and killing a fish with a sword)

-the parrot leaves ur shoulder when u jump
-u can make the parrot sit by clicking on it so it doesnt get in the way (cats and dogs too!)

-fun fact: pandas can eat cake in minecraft as well as bamboo! (and no im not trying to make u kill animals dont worry lol)
-click on the symbol of the crafting table with the red X to show only recipes you can craft with the stuff u have 3:11

-just "Q" should work to drop stuff but u can also drag it from ur inventory

@warriorcatktitty Parrots could eat cookies when they were added, but they removed it because children fed their pet parrots cholocate cookies, which is also toxic for parrots in real life, because they learned it in Minecraft. To avoid getting more parrots get killed because of them they changed the feature to be more realistic.
Also, bamboo is a really good renewable wood resource! It takes a lot to make anything out of it, but it’s really fast and easy to harvest and it grows back super quickly!
I’ve never watched your channel but I started playing Minecraft when I was 21 many years ago and am loving this series so far. It’s fun watching someone discover all the new things in Minecraft.
Tip #1 about the cats, ocelots don’t turn into tamed cats anymore but you can still get an ocelot to be friendly and you get tamed cat pets at villages and there’s are like 9 different kinds. You need fish (I think raw is fine) and you need to shift and not make sudden movement until it approaches you and you calmly feed it.
Tip #2 there’s another chest in the jungle temple, you have to switch the switches in the right order to open a secret door or you can break through the wall.

You can put items in a flower pot such as saplings, flowers and bamboo, you can also cut down the bamboo to make a different kind of wood and stifle holding also the animal you was calling a cat is an ocelot you can't actually tame an ocelot but you can feed it raw fish and get it to trust you, the way you can get a cat though is by finding a village, they will be stray cats in the village you will want to crouch and slowly oppose it like the ocelot and feed it fish to tame it, you can also use dye to change the color of the collar, use flowers to make the dye.

I am loving these Minecraft videos, they perfectly encapsulate how I felt when I picked up a super updated Minecraft, even building a tree house and trying to get all the pets (you can right click them to make them sit so they don't move into danger) Also your house is so pretty and amazing!

The amount of luck to find all these neat things. Such a genuine, like haven't played since kid, first playthrough. It's a breath of fresh air from everyone knowing how to play lol, but mc does have a lot going on now. I think you are quite observant anyways. It's usually hard to see everything in a place you aren't accustomed to at first.
And, that's a pretty sweet tree house, you're crushing all the goals.
This is honestly one of the best minecraft series. I love watching Alice discover new things that weren't in the game when she last played. Also I would love to make you a new character even if you don't want to use it because the one you are using is very good. You might be able to go sword fishing in the occean or fish for them.

There are cats in Minecraft, but they only live in villages (as villagers' pets). You can indeed tame them with fish.
Here's a useful tip, when you want to take items out of a chest quickly (like if you're about to drown :P ) you can hold shift and left click the items and they'll go right into your inventory without needing to drag them over. Also you can hold shift if you want to stand still on a ladder. Also also you can't walk off a ledge while holding shift, so it's a safer way to peer over the edge of a cliff or pit.

The parrot dying is in reference to chocolate being toxic to parrots xD
Something for diving/exploring shipwrecks. Take doors with you. When you place the door it creates and air pocket you can stand in and get air. Destroy the door to take it with you or keep it there while you explore the nearby area. It's like having a dive bell
24:47 the switches open up a secret door accesible from above when correct levers are clicked, but you can simply break the blocks the levers are on to get to the treasure :P
A little tip: You can hold the spacebar to climb ladders as opposed to W. I find it easier that way

FYI, All that bamboo around you can be crafted into sticks and blocks as another source of wood, and you won't have half the internet yelling at you to not leave half-chopped trees everywhere.
And we are all screaming at you through the screen to EAT and keep your health up. Half a heart is PANIC time for most MineCrafters! ;D To tame the jungle Ocellot cats, you need raw fish. To get pet cats, you need to tame the strays in the villages. They will scare the creepers away, so make a few sit at base of your tree as sentries. You can plant saplings, and get new trees, but jungle trees and darkoak and paleoak take FOUR in a square to grow. Your awe at every turn is adorable, if you stick with it, you'll find there are a LOT more biomes, and a ton more creatures to discover. Now next on the menu is "suspicious stew" Get cooking! :D

Tip to make crafting and selecting easier in your inventory:
If you double click, then everything in a chest or an inventory of a specific item will be selected. So like when you found the buried treasure chest and there was iron in different spots in the chest you can double click and it will select them all. Also if you shift click in your inventory or in a chest it will move it directly into your inventory.

Instead of ladders you should put vines on your treehouse it'll give a cottage core vibe!!
Soo the heart of the sea is a very complex item , its purpose is to craft something that can help you breathe underwater , I dont want to spoil you much more how it works , just keep in mind is very complex and its usually used for building underwater. Hope this helps!
Also, remember to craft a shield next time! Its very useful.

Though, as the first evil person mentioned, parrots *can* dance, but you just need to create a jukebox (made with 8 planks and 1 diamond in the middle) and a music disc which you can find in dungeon loot, or from a really difficult process of trying to kill a creeper by the hand of a skeleton - when done, place the jukebox next to the parrot and put the disc in and it will start dancing
Also at 24:50 with the levers, it's a puzzle for a chest, but if you can't solve it you can just mine the wall and just get the chest like that
I think mod farmer's delight would be perfect for you. You could make series about farming and cooking/baking :) or maybe there is a better mod which focuses more on baking?

The way I smiled when I saw this. I absolutely love this please make it a full series. Also I realized nobody must have told you about the recipe book… click that little green book. It shows recipes to craft, and it shows you what you can make with the items you currently have
There are flower pots in this game. You can put saplings in it. You can also double click an item in your inventory to get all of it. Also the temple is a jungle temple. You're supposed to use the levers to open a secret room... But you can just mine it (the room is behind the levers).
I'm so happy ur comment section is filled with genuinely good gaming tips and advices, no tricks and lies this time (at least among the popular comments). As I promised, I subscribed (not that it matters though) and am hoping this will become a proper series. Though I would advice to cut the trees all the way, when u only cut the bottom half it quickly becomes confusing and gets in the way of planting new saplings.

Two things you can do underwater: A) Use a bed; B) place a door. Both add their own shield of air.
Paper and feathers have some use, but you might want feathers for future arrows, so you can fight mobs at a distance.
Since you're single player, you can type important coordinates in chat. You can get that from F3. Otherwise, your spawn is trackable with a compass.

Not sure if anyone has said this but if you mine the bigger shards of Amethyst you can get it to make a spyglass. (You happened to break the smaller piece which doesn’t drop anything) You will also need a little copper. This will help you see far away.
Also you might like to know that you can indeed make flower pots to put flowers and saplings in. You gotta make bricks out of clay balls and then use 3 bricks to make a v shape in the crafting table and there you go, a flower pot

The only way you can find a cat to tame is to find a village, cats spawn there. And you tame them by feeding them raw fish. Get raw fish by fishing for them with a fishing rod, or by straight up killing fish you see in the river. (Note: tropical fish won’t work, only cod and salmon)

In the Temple, there's a chest hidden behind the levers. You can flip them in a certain order to open the way or just break through the blocks to get to it.
now cats and ocelots (the yellow white cat you've been chasing) are different you can only tame cats from villages with raw fish do not chase them slowly approach them and stop at a bit of distance they will slowly walk towards you right click to feed raw fish make sure to have a ton with you

- the copper u have can be used to make a telescope so u can see things farther 🔭
- 16:17 24:43 the gray and blue thing u found are things used to put different designs on armor (u can do this by making a Smithing Table) 🔨⚒️
- the levers/switch's in the temple is a puzzle to a secret room that has a chest (u can figure out the puzzle or I think just mine the block underneath the middle lever/switch, also the temple is called a jungle temple)🧩🌲🛕
- You can get more seeds from mining grass (it doesn't give u seeds everytime u mine one tho)🌱
- 23:22 u can use flowers to make dyes that can be used to make items different colors like beds and banners💠🌹
- u can make banners with wool n sticks, and if u make a loom u can make banners with different designs(u are also able to layer the designs so it can make unique designs, look it up on RUclips n it will show u how u can layer the designs for new designs on banners)☀️🔶️
- the only food u can place down I'm pretty sure is just cakes 🎂

20:12 that’s an ocelot, you can only tame regular cats, you can find them in villages, and yes, they only eat raw fish; cats are good because they’re scaring creepers (the green thing that blows up), but i recommend dogs more, because they’re fighting with everything that has attack you, they are a lot easier to tame too, they are not scared from you and they aren’t that rare (you can tame them with bones and heal them with any type of meat, you can see how healed they are by the length of their tail)

It's been a while since I played minecraft too so this is SO fun for me to watch! I remember you had to stand very still with a fish in your hand to lure an ocelot[which becomes a cat] to you as they run away when you approach them! PLEAASE make a kitty cat, they are LOVELY[the literal origin of my actual cat's name when I finally got them was that I made millions of cats in minecraft and named them all always "baby cat" in my mothers tongue so I also named her baby cat. Ah, the best of times..
no longer possible, the only way to get a cat is in the village, if you feed the ocelot fish it will only stop running away from you and will not be able to follow you and teleport like wolf and parrot

When you're looking for threasure, when you'll stand in the middle of the X on the map, move one pixel to the back and then dig down. You'll have your treasure.
Also, with the heart of the sea you can craft an item, that surrounded underwater with prismarine gives you vision, breathing and strength while you're swimming near it. You'll need 8 shells to craft it tho and collecting them is hard. You need an travelling merchant, drowned with a shell, fish it up or find in the buried threasure.

hello Alice! I think I have a solution to all your problems! The “cat” you found in the jungle at 21:08 is actually an Ocelot! They repel creepers (the green things that blow up). If you get a lead by killing a wandering trader {(a guy that carries around Llamas) they normally spawn near to players btw}, you can leash the Ocelot to a fence to keep the creepers away from an area! If you want a normal cat, feed the Ocelot raw fish!❤ I would recommend placing a fence at the base of the ladder, and right clicking to attach the Ocelot to it once it’s leashed. oki ty for reading!
Ocelots don't turn into normal cats anymore, and cannot be tamed. You can feed them raw fish to breed them, but that's it. If you want a normal cat, you have to get them from villages.
@@RayramAureanBlue actually you can tame an ocelot but all it does is make it so they won't run away from you anymore. They won't turn into a cat and they won't follow you
Instead of killing wandering trader, you can also just put the llamas in a boat XD they'll drop their leashes
18:08 Hold shift and click on an item to move it from a chest into your inventory, this is much faster than dragging and dropping and helps with taking treasure while under water.

Also just a quick tip, when collecting items from chests or inventory, you can double click the item to collect all of that specific item. That way, you don’t have to grab each individual item one by one
