I find it fascinating that the great artists of the 1960´s all of a sudden got huge interest again in the 1980s while they had pretty much disappeared completely in the 70´s. That started with Simon&Garfunkel in 1981 (Central Park Concert), continued with the Everly Brothers in 1983 (Royal Albert Hall Reunion Concert), and then Roy Orbison in 1987. First the Black&White Night Concert, then the Travelling Wilburys, then the album Mystery Girl with the single You Got It. Unfortunately, Roy was the one who didn´t profit much from his comeback... he died before it had even reached it´s height in 1989.
It just struck me, that all these young people we see at Fram Aid in the crowd, are now old with grand children. Just amazing how fast time goes by. I was one of the young ones as well. SMH!!
