The money is because of the dlc skins you get with it. KF2 has a huge skin market on steam, I was able to sell my minigun skins for a nice profit

I feel as if this should hold at least 300 rounds given the monstrous magazine it feeds from, and of course, 999 reserve ammo.
No either 900 or 1200. Because if you have 999 you're gonna have that one lazy 99 round mag.

This weapon is for when you just want to stand on a choke point and hold down the tripper till everything dies. Sounds alright.

I wish this was an all-in on a spray and pray style for the commando, fully committing to just hosing down trash. Honestly with its heavy weight and low effective range due to the kick/accuracy, it feels more like something that would fit in the Support's Arsenal, rather than the Commando.

Maybe this minigun could be some kind of crossperk between Commando and Support. Would be interesting to see it perform with Support's skills and passives
I disagree. Support is the dedicated shotgun perk. The moment you give it something that’s not a shotgun, you set a dangerous precedent.
@@B_Skizzle Well the LAW rocket launcher from the first game was a Support Specialist weapon at first, before the Demolitionist perk even existed. I can see the Minigun being in the arsenal of the Support.
@@B_Skizzle They gave Berserker guns, being a dedicated melee perk, and the world is still very much intact. Up the mag size, spread, stumble power (so much that it can stumble a charging FP unaided), and make it so that you have to set it up on some sort of mount to fire it and the minigun becomes useful as a weapon that helps the team hold an area, a support role. And that's what perks [should be]: a role, not a class of weapons.
I'll stop there to refrain from digging into TWI, I hope they course correct this game. Shame to see what's becoming of it.

you can almost feel their desperation to squeeze out the last drops; so much for giving the game and tripwire one last chance.
Not giving dangles dlc keys is like tripwire shooting itself in the foot.
The way the character holds the minigun bothers me so much.

I think the handle should have been held by the left hand and fired with the right... but I think it's this way so the arm isn't covering the screen when you're shooting it.

The player view is in the lower chest, i do however agree it bothers me alot.
Since I buy all the guns anyway, I had a test run with it, duo with a medic. The gun is not great for trigger discipline or running around and taking pot shots at chasing hordes. Ideally you want to have it for the boss waves. For endless if you have teammates that can shoulder the burden for you, like a support or survivalist with 20 weight limit you can ask them to hold your minigun if they dont pack a full load themselves. Having machinegunner and then a proc of zed time with the minigun is the closest thing to a "worth it" moment if you buy this weapon pack.
No high damage, no mobility, no ability to kill SC effectively, no ability to kill FP, no secondary wepon option, quiet lengthy preheating and reloading time, just a bigger Kriss without stumble power, what a piece of sXXt!

The kriss shoots faster and actually has DPS, this gun does not lol
I wish it was a one magazine, overheating type weapon, magazine skills increase the amount of rounds before overheating, and reload skills increase the cooling rate. To make it feel more like a minigun
0:55 you mentioned a shoulder-mounted minigun which got me thinking. Fallout New Vegas actually has one in its lonesome road dlc (not a real-world example but it came to mind)

I hope you don't mind if I state my own opinion about the minigun it's literally the worst version I ever played and I played a lot of games not only that I've seen a real one in operation The spread is way too far the sound is off and they should have gave you a backpack for ammo It's a minigun you shouldn't have to reload sorry if it seems like I'm being negative but this is just my opinion I hope you don't mind thank you for your honest opinion

For 2nd weapons use the Swat H&K UMP, or P90 or Nailgun as they weigh 5kg . Better firepower than the basic AR-15.

I absolutely love this thing. It absolutely tears the big zeds limb from limb. It is pretty hard to control tho. And it costs 400 thousand dollars to fire it for 12 seconds. But it's my go-to for killing scrakes.

The miniguns good on high rounds if you train a map with a group. I did it on nuked and it did pretty good at round 40

agreed on the 18c being "meta" its the only extra weapon that i don't regret purchasing, though i only use it as a single pistol

I have a similar opinion how to change the Minigun if I could. Also I would add a more realistic shooting sound. More like the sound of the *A-10 Warthog* or the sound of Payday 2's Minigun.
Low key running this on survivalist with a 401 secondary with the plus weight skill makes it more viable and fun imo

This gun makes me really wish they would lower the weight of the bull pup to 5 from 6 so you could have it as a secondary.

I actually like it. On Zed Time is easy to control and headshot a lot of smaller zeds in sequence without wasting ammo at all. Just don't panick fire it...

Yeah, I love it. Similar speed to the katana but with a special ability that is activated when the % guage is full and you hit the reload button.

Upgraded how? I used both, this gun is worthless. It actually does less damage per shot which I've tested and it takes YEARS to reload for a small af mag size that it has and it always runs out of ammo. It's quite literally one of the worst weapons I've ever used.

My total minigum ammo is 873 or something like that. Not 600
Why would you want the minigun to do LESS damage?? It’s already pretty trash damage output. And on top of that, you cannot upgrade it. So. By late game, the tier 4 starter pistol feels a bit stronger per shot imo.

@@tai-bere3500 wait doesn't the normal minigun we know aka the M134 use 7.62x51mm aka .308 which is literally same round the Scar-H and FN Fal uses
Minigun should get 2000 RPM instead of 1200 to actually feel like a minigun but get its weight increase to 12 or maybe even 15 and recoil increased (or increase weapon spread) since its actually relatively too easy to get headshots with this weapon in my experience, but getting headshots with minigun feels really off. The recoil increase and weapon spread decrease would definitely offset RPM increase.
The RPM of 1200 right now is seriously off, it literally has the same RPM as a submachine gun (Kriss SMG).
I think decreasing damage would be dumb since that makes no sense, the cartridge fired by the minigun is the same one used by FN-FAL. If you decrease accuracy and increase recoil then you are reducing the effective DPS.
Playing minigun without the 150% magazine buff is not exploiting its huge magazine size and defeats the entire purpose of the weapon.

yeah but I feel a hemoclobber is needed with a survivalist perosnally, my loadout usually consist of 2 load out choices
Loadout 1: RPG, Hemoclobber and HRG Kaboom stick (rpg is a good scrake tool and fleshpound tool, hemoclobber for healing againbst a buch of trash etc, kaboom stick for close range encounters against fleshpounds and alt firing to gain distance
Loadout number 2 is pretty much the same except replacinbg the rpg with the AA-12, might stream solo on hell on earth with it tonight :D
devs always add miniguns to their games then pussy out and make it only do like 2 damage per shot. If you're gonna add death machine then make it a fucking death machine, to hell with balance, let us have fun
