Hi, this is Jessie with Sharp Edges in Oklahoma
And today I wanted to go over changing the blade lever in a Heiniger Opal Cordless Clipper.
Okay, for the sake of the video, I've already taken out the screws here.
There are four screws in the back.
When you remove the battery, there's a small one down here. I've already removed these. So you pop the cover off like this.
There'll be a little hair in here. You'll clean that off.
But you'll take this rubber seal right here off. And you'll take a screwdriver and you'll lift the old blade lever out like that.
It just slides right up off of this post.
And it will have a grease guard or hair guard around it.
You save that.
Here is the old blade lever.
Take your new blade lever and a little bit of grease. I like to use super lube and put it on the blade lever here. And maybe just a tad bit around the post.
Put this hair guard back on. Slide this back down over the post. Just like that. Put this plastic guard back on. And then just pop the cap back on. Put your screws in. You're good to go.
