Here’s something that isn’t in the controls but I’m pretty certain works: if you want a guaranteed tip when you’re in front of the net, hold L2 and hold the right stick to the forehand or backhand. I’ve noticed that the success rate of getting a tip is much higher when doing this

When you’re the one shooting it, or the one tipping it? I’m just confused how moving the right stick would do anything if you don’t have the puck

You don't need to hold claw to have access to the bumper and trigger. 😅
Just shift your grip so you have the pointer on LB/L1 and middle finger on LT/L2.
This will reduce the amount your hand has to shift its grip and open up some options that weren't there before.
In most games, it will help a little.
Chel's control scheme has a ton of depth to it. Shifting to a more appropriate grip makes a huge difference.

That’s what I mean by claw grip. My mistake if that means something else.

Played tendy for years... didn't know about the auto skate behind... still probably not leaving my net though.

Neat video btw! Most of Chel's mechanics are pretty well hidden. Most of which can be exploited Off the top of my head, we have how vision works, puck carry animations, desperation animations, and what stats really affect. There's sooooo much more. Mainly because the game never makes any of this clear to players interested in knowing.

You can also do the drop pass while holding forehand or backhand this year as long as you aren’t touching the LS

how do i get the bat in animation in front of net?

    • @llamapenNHL
      @llamapenNHL  Год назад

It's a random animation. You can position yourself as well as you can and having a good hand-eye rating will increase the likelihood of getting this to happen.

can you make a video on elite edges and in reverse being the best pairing abilities?..
i find the silvers work great with any rating above 87 agility/accel with 88 speed or above..
for the gold elite edges with in reverse your speed stat needs the 93 with 92 agility and 94 accel pairing to be effective..

Can you explain passing basics, what are the buttons for a successful pass I never knew r2 did anything I always used x. Also with L2 and x in the zone spinning around , I am having issues with x passing the wrong way and I'm trying to shoot and it passes

Hold R1/RT. Hold it for about a second or two and it’ll be fully charged.

Me and my buddy were going for it in practice mode. Just go for a slap pass and have your teammate dive out at the right angle. Pretty tough to get but fun.
