    I am glad you mentioned groin, because that was the first vulnerability I saw. Sports BJJ might not serve a person in a life and death situation because they train under a lot of safety rules and a person usually fights the way he trains. I was watching a video tutorial of Cornelius the famous world black belt champion sports BJJ practitioner and his tutorial of how to defend against a standing full Nelson is lacking in so many ways. He wasn’t even sure what a full Nelson was. Check it out. He is fantastic at sports BJJ, but,I have my misgivings about him squaring off with a Navy Seal combatant.

    omg- so i have been working this position called double knee ride. this stuff is great.
    I tend to prefer using multiple knees & legs to pin, brutalize & immobilize the opponent like using a leg staple on the arms or then moving to forms of mounted triangles. then you can have a field day- give him a wet willy, indian belly rub, or if you really don't like the guy, break him apart. there are just so many angles you can attack from top

      I use it in sport too but for security the double ride can be tricky. It’s usually harder to maintain balance especially when someone is really jacked on drugs and surfaces are
      Less predictable like a wet bathroom floor or ice etc. For street we use these three rides:

      idk its weird. when i do a double knee ride i feel a lot more stable than doing knee on belly. i am mobile with the knee on belly but the opponent is also quite mobile and it can be trickh to hold - also i have to worry about getting rolled or countered.
      i dont seem to have such issues with double knees since i have 4 points of base at least (2 knees 2 feet) and hands as needed. ill have to check out your pins. thanks kevin!
