    Wow, this transformation I can't get over!! When I first saw the first video of Cara I immediately went to put her in a box thinking that her movement would never be gorgeous and long, and her temperment would remain "crazy", but this transformation has changed my entire mind about horses. She's moving gorgeous now, acts so sweet and to think that you were the one who got her there :D

    Cara looks AMAZING!! You have done so amazing with her. I love that your solution was never just to put her in a harsher bit or get angry with her, but just to be patient and understanding. It shows how much of a true horse person you are! Thank you for all you do for the community!

      Thank you sooo much! Tbh putting on more tack was never an option. Actually I stripped it all down no noseband softest bit no martingale and then brought it back slowly when she was relaxed and comfortable it’s worked out very well ❤️

    It seems that the only person Cara needed in her life was YOU! She is a very fortunate horse that her owner was patient and kind with her while she figured out how to be a rideable horse. As for your barn, yes if would great to have huge turnout paddocks, but what you have is fine. At least she is not kept in her stall 24/7. You are so thoughtful to take Cara on walks. And, that you know if you rode her she would go into "fight or flight" mode, as when horses become afraid their instinct is to flee!

      Thanks that means a lot ❤️

      Therese Moser I hope you are doing well. I remember there was a time you were struggling. I always found just spending time with my horse always made me feel better!
      Are you able to work on transitions with Cara? (between gaits) I know that she used to fight you when you want to transition into a canter. When I wanted to work on something tough with my horse, I always waited until the I had the ring to myself!!

    Therese you have done such an amazing job with Cara! I remember when you first got her, and she was just always leaping (and you still did handle that really well), and look at her now! You were riding her on such a nice long rein, and was looking so much more relaxed!! Seriously, amazing job!! I also loved the video, and these are such gorgeous clips! ❤👍

    Råbra vlogg! Fine klipp og god redigering, men ikke minst - fin ridning. Cara ser fantastisk ut nå, både i kroppen og under rytter, og du rir henne så fint. Fortsett å stå på, dette går rett vei!

    So nice to see a barn vlog, and you seem so happy at the "new" yard/barn. Are you going to introduce some suppling exercises now that Cara is calmer?

    I trully love your riding style!! I also walk every time with my sensitive horse before riding. If you only knew how often people start a dicussion about it or how often people ask me what the hell I'am doing.... and Finally I see someone like you doing it. Apperently I'm not grazy 😉 also love how you start your riding with the loose reins. Big big fan of it! Keep going the good work 😘 xoxo from Holland

    May I ask your opinion about insurance? Are your horses insured? If you had to put a value on your besties what would it be?

    • @ThereseMoser
      @ThereseMoser  6 лет назад

      I mean to put a value on my bestie is not possible. To put a value of the horse as an “object to insure” take their market value as a standard- their capacity, age, breed etc :)
