Looks like we're seeing shadow's more serious and cool side now, the split personality thing is real. Cuz this is the same shadow that's dating sonia.
In a way it kinda makes sense. It's the same for the genderbent universe. Shadina has a split personality too although in her case it's a nice and cool personality. The only difference is she was completely separated because of what exe did to her. In that way both universes kinda mirror each other with how the characters are. I'm still not sure about the explanation of why there is a Simp Sonic and a Modern Sonic though.

Sonic: Yes it was successful… But the only bummer was afterwards when it lost an awards show that was FIXED in favor of a garbage anime game that nobody plays. It wasn’t even released the same year as Sonic Frontiers, but 2 years before, so legally, that anime game shouldn’t have been in that awards show to begin with. The host of that show needs to be sued for fraud, and the results need to be refuted.
