I wasn't able to easily connect to my Phillips TAE1205 Bluetooth Headset. I tried to connect on an iPhone and was super easy. So i guessed the problem was with pixel/android. My jbl Bluetooth Box also have some trouble to connect to my pixel 6. Now it seems all perfect! I hope it stays like this. Thanks so much.
It worked with my bluetooth headsets which my Pixel 6 couldn't deteched. Will try to pair up with my car bluetooth tmr. Hopefully it will work as well. You're a legend. Wouldn't why Google such a deep pocket money company designed such poor device. I switched to Google from Iphone few months ago, now I deeply regreted!

I feel ya, I went from a Huawei p30 pro that ended up having a software issue and google assistant stopped responding 99% of the time. Pixel 6 Bluetooth issues with vehicles. Makes me wanna fix my pixel 3 XL and use it.
Ya it just really feels rushed on the pixel 6. The amount of software fixes the first time around has helped a lot and hopefully the next set will put this issue to sleep.

The mobile connects correctly to the Bluetooth in the car, but when I am calling or playing music it intermittently disconnects. I was used to being able to set a maximum volume FROM the headphones themselves, and then toggling the volume rocker on my old phone would increase and decrease all media and phone transmitted audio WITHIN that range, never going above. Now, I have a pixel 6 and changing the volume on my headphones is reflected IN the phone's volume settings, synchronously BUT I DON'T WANT THAT. Is there any known way to fix this , whether in the Android phone or maybe as JBL app that you know of so I never go above a comfortable listening volume? I have sensitive ears and I hate that people like me are always forgotten.
Ya unfortunately I don't have a solution for that. There was a big patch / update for a lot of bug fixes. The update was sent out on Dec 13. Check for software updates if you haven't received it yet.
My current issue with my Bluetooth on my Pixel 6, is that it won't automatically connect to anything. I'm hoping this fix solves the issue. But every time I get in my car, I have to manually connect my phone to my head unit because it won't do it by itself anymore. I never had issues with the Pixel 4.
Thx. Since getting the Pixel 6, when I stream music in car the song track time countdown display has disappeared. Not sure if issue is P6, new Bluetooth version or Android 12....
Even with all the big fixes the Bluetooth isn't fixed. I just got the latest one yesterday. I'll have to default my settings and see if they have fixed it. I also find shutting off your Bluetooth and then what for the stereo to be all the way on, turn the phones Bluetooth on. Seems to connect 75% of the time
@@jasonflt Thank you for that suggestion. It might also be another unknown variable - my RUclips Music might not be passing all the required metadata. It's like whack-a-mole - fix one thing and something else appears lol.
My pixel 6's bluetooth connects and works for music on my truck (2014 ram), but constantly disconnects on phone calls. It worked perfectly on my galaxy s10e, so I'm pretty sure it's not the unconnect. I followed your steps, hopefully this will solve my problem.
It worked for me for one day but the next day had to repair again. I'm still trying to figure out which combo works the best. I have an after market deck in my van and it's hit and miss, I need to repair the Bluetooth all the time. My pixel 6 doesn't keep it in the paired devices. Let me know if you have problems in a few days
@@jasonflt so far, I have had to turn gabeldorsche back on once. I may have to turn it back on daily. The phone did stay paired for 5 minutes, did a quick disconnect and reconnect. I call that a win for now, hopefully Google will roll out an update that will help.
Just keep in mind that this is a workaround that you may have to go back to enable a few times as time goes on but it's not a 100% fix. Thank you for your comment
I know all you can do is submit a ticket to google about this issue. I have android 12L loaded and for me didn't resolve any of my Bluetooth issues. It helped a little
Fyi it could be hit and miss and the one setting turns off time to time, so double check if you have issues. Also turn off your Bluetooth first before connecting to the vehicle and turn on after the vehicle is on, give it a few seconds. Seems to work for me time to time
Just remember this is a temporary fix so you might have to go back in and do it again. Also if you decide to upgrade to Android 13 the Bluetooth seems to get a little bit better
@@jasonflt When I change device I can't connect to it anymore. if i switch from my car to my buds a , i have to restart my pixel to use the buds. if i go back to my car i have to do it again
@@papouchepapoose66 damn I thought I had it bad, my problems aren't that bad that I need a reboot. I would suggest a factory reset and see if that helps, I didn't say fix. I have Samsung buds 2 and they work flawlessly with the Samsung buds app.
I come back after resetting, in fact I understood the problem. my old bluetooth devices are not recognized and I have to restart to use them. with my pixel buds. no problem

Ya and not a lot of people have complained to google for Bluetooth issues.
Thanks changing from 1.5 default to 1.4 made my phone connect directly again.

This resolved a Pixel 6a problem wherein my music/RUclips audio would stream to my 2016 BMW but my phone audio would not work.

There's a Bluetooth issue with pixle 6 and google doesn't want to admit it. The only thing I can suggest is put in a ticket to google about this issue

If you are here because of the June 2022 Update to the Pixel 6, try going to Bluetooth settings and disabling HD audio. Then reconnect your device.

But none of this fixes the audio delay when playing any type of video at all, with a bluetooth device. its maddening at this point....
