My wife and I got a new puppy she is 8weeks old, we both have the same work schedule 9-5. This week we’ve got her taken care of going to implement as much training as possible what do you recommend? Im definitely considering getting a sitter for lunch but other than that I’m kinda freaking out of what she will be doing while we’re gone
I’m 2 weeks in with my golden retriever puppy. Thanks to YOUR videos we’ve come from the despair of thinking he had full separation anxiety because he panicked and screamed and soaked himself in panic drool
If left alone… to now i can get him settled in his crate for naps and i even left the house a couple times to come home to him peacefully sleeping. I watched and followed other puppy and dog trainers… you are the BEST for me ! I will keep watching and learning from you. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts 🦄

I’m 5 days in. It’s a lot of work taking care of a puppy but I love my dog to death and cannot imagine life without him anymore 🥺

This is my 5Th week with my puppy. She sleeps well in the crate but gets up 2 times at night to go potty. THEN, at 5 am she wants to get up for the day. When will she sleep through the night? She is 13 weeks old.
We usually start to see puppies sleep longer around the 15 week age, but it varies a lot depending on your puppy. Try adding more mental work (puzzle games, find it games, enrichment) to the evening. It might help her settle better.
How to go to work the first days without getting the puppy separation anxiety?
Puppies are not used to being alone so until he's used to it and is comfortable in the crate, we suggest you find a dog sitter who can be with him. If he has negative experiences alone or distress in the crate at this age, it could become a lifelong issue. He won't always be this needy but he's a very young puppy and it's important to help him adjust gradually without stress.
I’ve had my puppy 5 days and she will sleep in the crate at the night (with frequent potty breaks) and walk in the crate on her own. Although, if I try to put her in the crate while I cook dinner & she sees me she cries/barks. Any recommendations?
