Didn’t she say in an interview that she was ABOUT to be trained for the role to open it in Broadway while Lea was still in the role in West End but that she didn’t hear from them after a year? And then as it turns out Lea was chosen to open it in Broadway as well.

@Meljun Casia actually no, hindi nila iccast as kim si ms regine because ang kailangan nila gumanap as kim is soft yung voice, and innocent looking. Kung Gigi pa baka pwede pero not Kim. She doesn’t meet the standards that they need for Kim. Look at rachelle ann go. Iccast dapat sya as kim pero hinde kasi hindi din nya nameet yung standards na kailangan, pero nakuha nya yung role as Gigi(more on harsh yung voice and mature looking).
