Andrew = Best gear reviews on RUclips! You are the best❤️
Hi George,
It was a great share! I have been learning a lot about cameras and lenses from your channel, and they have been extremely helpful. My nephew loves them, and I share your videos with him as well. He loves them as well. It has become a way for us to connect with each other. A big thanks for sharing this video with us, it was a great watch!
definitely lookin into the 50mm especially because the width and also weather sealing great 👍 video
Sensacional o video, você me deixou a vontade para sanar duvidas, mas elas não existem! Muito obrigado!
will the 50mm 1.0 give you better DOF closer to FF look or no ?
hi, if i am a makeup artist, i better buy 56 mm or 50 mm I would be very grateful if you would answer it
Is the compared XF56.2 lens a new one? Which is more comfortable between the 56mm new lens and the 50mm lens?
It's the old one.
Why not get a Konica hexanon 50mm 1.7 + a adapter = ca 60 euros. Amazing portrait lens
Are you guys the George’s camera in San Diego California?
The store is based in Sydney, Australia
Is the 56mm the mark 2 lens?
No,is mark1,because lens filter is 62mm,new mark2 is 67mm.
56 is sharper at f8. You can see it even in your photos. Center sharpness anyway. Still enjoyed your video thanks!
What do you think of the Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1.8 R WR?
The new 56mm f/1.2 R WR is a closer match to the 50mm f/1. The image quality of the new 56mm is amazing but still suffers from poor autofocus, really a miss chance to put LM focusing motor in that lens. I ended up returning the 56mm R WR and picked up an used 50mm f/1. I like it better. It does weight a bit though.
Hey bro, how does 50 f1 handles high contrast image with chromatic aberration? Cause I saw that it was the problem of some users of this lens, I want to know your real experience as I am interested on Fuji F1 .
@@zacx6970 that’s probably the only slight weakness on this lens. But to be honest, I don’t realize it that much for real life usage. Plus it is not that difficult to fix in post. I am very pleased with what this lens can bring to the table. I prefer this over the 56mm if you don’t mind the size and weight.
@@ericthestone now that’s what I wanted to hear! Thanks! 🙏🏻❤️
Hey Eric, thats interesting. I have the new 56 and was bummed at the AF speed, although I am using an older X-T2. Is the AF a solid improvement then, on the 50? And do you noticed the slightly wider view? Thanks man.
@@nugunzer I owned the new 56mm for a while, I wasn’t very impressed with the autofocus speed either, so I returned it and picked up an used 50 f/1 for a great price. I would say the autofocus of the f/1 is in between the old 56 and the new 56. Nothing to write home about, but as a f/1 portrait lens, it is alright.
Fuji says that the 50mil has closest focus distance 70cm as well, so no difference here.
