Fiat Cinquecento NOVITEC Turbo project. TURBNOOOOOOOO!?

- I have not even started installing the Novitec turbo Kit on my Cinquecento sporting, and already it seems to not be a success.
I got the required papers or TUV papers, and they are good to go, but the turbo that i got does not correspond to the turbo on the papers...
My turbo is a IHI RHB4 turbo and on the papers it states that the novitec kit utilizes a Novitec Typ 1 turbo.... But I cant even find a picture of such a thing....
So the Cinquecento Turbo project is knocked back to the start again... I might have to live with 54 Hp... :O

Maybe this is a sign that you have to keep this car as a "responsible" daily driver.
I really would love to see this car with the turbo installed, but you have a lot of other great projects going on, it is impossible to be dissapointed
Yes maybe its a sign.... I know that putting a turbo on this will make it brake down so often.... But it would be so much fun!
I'm afraid my government will actually watch this video and start getting ideas for more money making beurocracy. TÜV is also our MOT place. I dont actually care for turbochargers but knowing this much can be done is actually scary :(
Øøøøv! Det var ellers bare et sjovt projekt! Kan huske at ha læst en artikel i Bilmagasinet i 90'erne, netop om novitec turbo kit til en Cinquecento. Vi må håbe, der dukker ekspertbistand op! 👍

Jeg vil også godt kæmpe lidt ekstra for at få det til at lykkes, fordi jeg tror virkelig at det blir sjovt!
Men hvis den "rigtige" turbo koster en krig, eller er umulig at få så ser det desværre sort ud...
Selvom man jo skulle mene at det kan være lige meget hvor de 0,5 bars tryk skulle komme fra... Men sådan er det altså bare ikke..

I have searched on Russian forums about this kit, but no one seems to have that. But there is one fiat for sale with this notek kit, in Slovakia

You need an schwitzer s1 turbocharger.....with novitec exaust side.....greets from germany

Hi Sebastian, i have the full Novitec kit to do this conversion. Apart from one thing… the turbo is missing it’s actuator. Would you have any knowledge on what a Schwitzer S1 needs fir actuator - there seems to be many versions? Do you know where I may get one?
@@ringo348tb this turbo is not avalible...fit another one....this is the best solution
What are the rules in your country regarding imported modified cars?
All modifications needs documentation (TUV)
It is possible to get mods testet and approved also, but that is expensive..
