It's nice to hear what it actually sounds like instead of table-top tight with a cowbell on it ;-) Seriously, it sounds very warm and diffuse, which is odd because die-cast hoops tend to focus and kind of "push" the sound through.
sounds really nice! :) the *ONLY* negative i would have is that throw off, its a nickelworks/nickelworks-style throw off made from plastic, premier usesd to use them on their modern classic snares, and they were prone to cracking/snapping, which is why nickelworks replaced the plastic model with a metal one, which are IMO much more durable and hard-wearing, BUT thats just from my experience, i could be totally wrong. great sounding drum either way!
We have invited UK representatives for Tama the opportunity to send us products, however, their response to our request was clearly an inconvenience, so unfortunately with us requesting gear being inconvenient, we haven't revisited this with them. Shame, as you have observed, the majority of all other companies are very supportive to our requests.

@DrummersReview I would love to hear you check out Oriollo Drums - be it just the snares or an entire set.

Unbranded reso on a drum that costs that much?!!
Too thin shell. Insufficiently convincing sound.
