    Hello Alison. I don't usually comment on these tutorials cause I get no answer back, but I love this doily or placemat. I learned at the age of 12 from my mother on an afghan. Now at age of 72 I'm still crocheting. Baby clothes, afghans, Prayer Shawls, booties. So I've added to my patterns. Love your accent and slow tutorials so I can follow along . Happy Thanksgiving 😊 to you. ❤🙏🏻🦃🐾
    I started a Prayer Shawl Ministry at our Church after my husband passed on Dec. 19th 2007. Still making them and presenting them to those who need them. We've given out nearly 1,000 since then.

      Thank you Lynn, I always try to reply if people take the time to comment I can take the time to answer questions or acknowledge I have seen their comment that's why they have a heart beside my comments I do try to acknowledge every 1. Amazing number of shawls every one made with love and kindness. Bless you Xxx

    Just checking Allison. When you first start with your magi ring you mention 26 trebles in the ring but then you say 30. trebles altogether. So we need 30 altogether don’t we to get the 15 clusters. Lovely pattern. Thank you.

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  2 года назад +3

      30 trebles the 26 was for the smaller doily cup size, I made a wall hanging out of my big doily video will be up in a few days

    Hello Alison. I just finished making 4 of the coasters. I followed your tutorial for those, and it was awesome. But I am confused. When you began, you stated to make 26 trebles into the magic ring. When you resumed the video, you stated at total of 30 trebles in the magic ring. Which one is it?

    Gorgeous Allison this would be lovely as a centerpiece for a table if done larger.. Do you just repeat the increased row? Thanks Allison xxx

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  2 года назад +1

      Yes, Deborah you might have to not do the chain 1 after each cluster set so it dosn't go wobbly or wavy.

    Can I used used red heart yarn acrylic? And a 3.5 hook? I love your work 💕👍💕

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  2 года назад +2

      yes it will be thick though but still beautiful (most red hart basic is 4 weight or UK arran weight) I will have to try it with a smaller hook and thicker yarn think it will make lovely thick place mats

    What weight of yarn are you using? I know you said we could use any type of yarn but if I want it for a plate, I definitely want to go with a thinner yarn. I don't think using a bulky yarn would work for a plate.

    you mentioned something about a wall hang crochet. can it be found on your page?

    The first row you say 26 stitches but closing it you say 30 stitches! I’m confused!
