You dont even need to read the new prophecy. I wasted so much time just to get to read to the last few pages of the last book. This summarizes everything in the last 3 books perfectly.
This is one thing that really pissed me off about Squirrelflight around that part of the book (other than me personally just finding her a bit annoying). She doesn’t take into consideration that she has a perfect family (mom, dad, sibling who all love each other) and Bramble’s only *real* familial connection was through Hawkfrost at the time (I believe Tawnypelt was busy with her mate and kits?). Then gives Brambleclaw an ultimatum without considering his emotions and prioritizing her biases. Obviously in the end Brambleclaw made the right decision by noping out and Squirrelflight and Leafpool’s “gut feeling” turned out to be right, but in my opinion it doesn’t matter who was right or wrong about Hawk in the first place, it was the emotional manipulation (intentional or not) going on. Apologies for such a long rant, I have strong feelings about these characters.
