In many ways I personally think the Venge is almost as comfy as the Roubiax and where it is not as comfortable as an endurance bike it makes up for by being far more in tune with the road. I kinda got board on my endurance bike. currently im building a way over the top Sworks Crux to be my "Aero winter bike" I was blown away by its on point handling and its complete stripped down no frills frame. I suspect it will get a set of road tires next spring. Either way I really want to find a reason to build a SL7 lol.
@@MSinc1 lmao yea im the same way with the venge here in florida too, The wheels these bikes are coming with how wide they are and the size of these tires now, make everything so smooth, my roads are very nice and paved, so honestly these bikes are comfy, and yea sometimes the roubaix or the endurance bikes are too comfy lol.... just get the sl7 you will love it, you seem like a specialized fan boy just like me and I love all the bikes, Im grabbing one for sure as soon as I get some open stock and dont have all of them on a sold back order lol. Sales first :(
What’s up with the bad fit/alignment of the stem plate on the SL7? 🥴
what do you mean??? like the stem isnt lined up with the front wheel;?
The Tarmac SL7's stem faceplate requires no gap at the top, unlike their other stems that require evenly spaced gaps.
Great video! Thank you !
Thank you so much for checking it out and supporting the channel!!!
How is it that these bikes are half the price of some cars? As expensive as carbon fiber is to make I just can't believe that there isn't some sort of intense price creep that's happened causing these bike manufacturers to make larger and larger profits at the cost of consumers.
Yea that’s pretty much it. And our margins get a lot smaller each year.
Do u know when the SL7 will come with 105 groupset??
Oooof who knows man that might be a year or two away
@@GCPerformance18 jeez😬 i guess the cheapest option is buy the 3k Frame🤷🏾♂️
BigLuu honestly yes. And then build it with whatever you can get the cheapest
Why 48-35 on front chainring?
That’s the 12 speed Sram, because they use a 10tooth cassette in the back a 48-10 is just as fast as a 52-11
Is the Vange bike is good for climbing or not....??
You can climb with the bike, but the tarmac is a better bike for climbing because it’s less carbon to move and it reacts quicker when putting down power
Thank u...so much for your reply..👍
Because i thinking i want to get the new Specialized Vange....in singapore....
The price for the Vange is $9 thousand plus....almose reaching $10 thousand dollar in SGD....
So is the venge a pretty good climbing bike? Sounds like sl7 is a better clumping and how much would the difference be
It’s not that bad. Like if it was your only bike it would climb decently, if you had more flats then climbs. But if your ride was all climbs more or less then go sl7
Still go all day all night with venge much better looking bike .. i hope they will do frameset for venge again i will but other one . Prefer venge all day long proper machine ak47:)))
dammmm venge got the numbers it looks so nice and aggresive
@@GCPerformance18 absolutely agree with you ..let’s hope they make the frameset again fingers crossed 🤞
Prostate cut out 🤨. It’s a cut out. It’s not specific to male anatomy. Like the mimic saddle, it can also work for men.
My point is, women ride too, don’t specify something as male specific when it isn’t designed specifically for males.
Specialized is doing well to open the sport to both men and women. The design of the power saddle is for both men and women.
I like your videos and content. Thank you for what you do.
yea I have corrected this in my future videos and just call it a cut out for blood flow, not jsut for prostate..... hopefully it didnt bother you too much and you can enjoy more content, thank you :)
@@GCPerformance18
Naw, you are good. I’m not mad lol.
An i wrong but maby it’s only herre in Europe... but i heard the Venge is sold as a frame set? 🙄🤔🤔And thanks GREAT rewiew👏🏻👍
No your not wrong, Specialzied still has the frames being sold for the 2020 sworks venge but they are not going to continue making it for 2021, so those frames your seeing might be carry overs for 2020, unless EU is carrying them over..... I would have to see it from a dealer but from my reps there saying the Venge is going to be done. So we will just have to wait and see and If i see here anything other wise you guys would be first to here :)
n=SL+1
Lmao I got it
Can you start leaving weights in the comments?
Yes I’m sorry I will do that from now on
The Venge is a better looking bike and is definitely faster..
:))) it does look better
12,000 😂😂😂 Specialized are a thevies
shit wait til you see scotts new plasma bike $15000
GC Performance
Not need to see Scott new bike 😂...... this is more then enough thank GC 😂
You didn't tell what people want to know, the difference in Kg
I know and Im sorry but I didnt think it would matter because the sl7 was a 52 and the venge was a 58 but I did videos on both of those bikes and gave both weights on those two models if you want to compare
I just got a SL7 Etap 54cm and it weighs 7.23kg with Dura Ace Pedals and no water bottle cages. Extremely disappointing.
@@dominicford7641 yea it feels a little more chuncky then what I wanted it to be but then again it is an aero bike now, but when my rep told me about this bike he was saying the 56 weighed in under 15lbs..... what a lie
Both are overpriced, cheaply made product that provides Specialized with a high margin. Both are designed to allow Specialized to make various "aero" claims that mean NOTHING in the real world.
I wish specialized had a high margin
GC Performance
Lool .... your a comedian for about 2 mins till boredom sets in
@@Max__apex lmao
If I got 12k for a bike I wouldn’t be trippin off the wheels I’d buy something other than roval
lmao thats a true point as well hahhaha
