    Loved the Percherons with their tails left long. So classy looking! I hope it becomes an industry wide trend.

    I was so excited to see your post today, as I do not have the luxury of seeing any draft horses where I live. Thank you so much for videoing the draft horse sale - beautiful, beautiful horses.

      My Dad loved draft horses and mules !!! We had several over the years. He started very young plowing with a team. He said he was so small that if the plow hit a rock it would throw him over the plow. He also drove ponies in the coal mines. Thank you for sharing !! Really brought back memories to this old 72 year body !!!! One question, do the harness go with the horses when sold? Thanks again and God bless you and your family !!!!! Eddy. ( from Virginia)

      @@rayeddy528 Thank you Eddy I appreciate it as well as hearing your fond memories of your father! Neat that he drove ponies in the coal mines, I wish he were still around so I could hear those stories first hand! Typically the harnesses are not for sale but in some cases, the auctioneer will say "harnesses are available for an extra price, talk to seller in barn". Thx for watching, Dave

      Dave can you tell me who the maker was that made that wood stage coach? I think it sold for 16,000 or so.

    • @bdradley1
      @bdradley1  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@ariztman I actually did not get the maker. They had hand made cards with contact info but I did not grab one unfortunately. I beat myself up afterwards as I meant to grab one. Maybe a phone call to Mt Hope Auction could tell you as they consign everything through the office. I apologize but hope that helps and Thx for watching! Dave
