the only one thing i have against the dead sea scrolls is that they are a rip off of a rip off of a rip off. now if it where the 100 % true bible before it was torn apart this put in this taken out i would belive his word all day every day. but seeing as how this one book has been torn apart and remade over 2000 years. you cant take it with a single grain of salt. sorry. but love the videos anyway they are good with indepth historical fact.
Yes there are thousands of scrolls, the scholars chose Matthew, Mark, Luke & John because they wrote almost the same thing as to what they witnessed, I hope this helps

Unless they prove that Jesus was divine and the son of god I don't see why they are important other than as being relics from ancient history.
