I’m starting to feel pretty burned out on the whole technology / internet thing. I pretty much dropped off social media, and now that I’m about to retire, I’ve basically stopped looking at my work e-mails and I’m ghosting a lot of zoom meetings. There are some things AI could help me with, but like 75% of work time seems like pointless bullshit TPS reports and if we stopped doing them it wouldn’t matter at all. I like the idea of AI just doing pointless and unnecessary shit that no one ever looks at, but what are the people who used to do the pointless unnecessary bullshit going to do for work?
Welp even less customer service people. Making discrete things is still not working. I definitely prefer to have a real boss as it will not be randomly doing stupid things.
