Very comprehensive. I keep having two problems, first that the board spins vertically like I have difficulty leveling it out because the flip happens on the upwards slope and if I try to level it out like I would with ollie it just stops the flip halfway through and lands upside down. The other issue I have is not keeping it straight like you mentioned in this video but I still don't quite understand the movement that causes that. Also a third thing I have a hard time getting a slow spin it always spins so fast. How can I just do a single instead of a double or triple?

its taken me ages to get the ollie where i can pop it and bring the deck up. i couldnt push down and lift up at same time. doing tech deck feels so satisfying i just do it when im at my desk waiting or pass a bit of time.

Genuinely I had a super cheap no name brand one from Amazon or something a few years ago. Wooden fingerboard with foam grip that was surprisingly good. Can be a hit or miss purchase but they can also be dirt cheap

would just be a double, triple, quadruple, quintuple etc kickflip. The part of the trick you're missing is the catch, if it spins too many times. Once you learn that it'll spin just once, and you can move on to combos like kickflip to grinds.
