It's good to see a young man at his age working on something constructive rather than being behind a computer all day playing games. I applaud this young man and his father, plus all the helpers.
This young man has more, mechanical knowledge, confidence and skill than most men 3 times his age. Nice work and congratulations on the Grand Champion.
Very impressive! I watched all four parts, and i couldnt believe you did all that in six months at your age! I was also surprised at how easy the old sleeves came out. Fantastic work young Sir, and you DESERVED that award! Keep up the great videos.
Thanks, yeah, I was fortunate the sleeves moved with my puck and hammer. They did have some heat applied when I was getting the pistons to move. I think that helped.
Well I sat though the whole rebuild and enjoyed every moment, I bet your Dad is so proud of your efforts and congratulations on winning the top prize you deserved it, oh and I hope the lady you purchased the tractor from got to see what you done to this beautiful piece of history 🙏🙏🙏
I heard your story at this years FFA Nationals. Great job on all the work, documenting and videoing you did of your project from start to finish. Competing at Nationals and receiving the recognition that you did is defiantly something to be proud of and great memories to cherish while you're in your Blue Corduroy Jacket.
When peeling decal, put the decal face down, start peeling the backing, fold the backing flat as you pull it off, backing will release from the decal easier
andrew, i could not be more happy for you. as a neighbor in connecticut, it is good that this part of the country receives recognition too. as proud as we all are of you, you must be the most proud of all. rejoice in it, this accolade is very well earned. i noticed an adult man in some scenes especially the decal ones. i presume that is your dad. if he is, i can't help but wonder who is the luckiest man there. the answer... you both are. one final thought, as great an achievement as the is, and it is great, please remember it is still just a beginning. may god bless. and best wishes.
One of the best restorations iv watched mate. Your mom and dad should be very very proud mate well done. Brilliant end to the series on winning that competition aswell well done 👍
Well done young sir, through part 1 of this restoration series I found your channel, (Im now sub'd) another neglected old machine saved for future generations to see and appreciate! Your dad trained a good mechanic in you, please thank him for me too. And for now it's watching the rest of your content, best regards from Scotland
Junger Mann!
Amazing work, we found a Mc Cormick f240 in our fields which we will be trying to get going again. That is how i ended up here! Truly amazing what you did and in such short time 😮
Great job and well-deserved victory! I watched it from beginning to end with great pleasure. The greatness of parents is in their children. And this is a great example. I'm sure this is just the beginning. Good luck to your family and prosperity! Sincerely from Russia, the city of Tambov!
VERY WELL DONE, you are developing your skills as you work through your various restorations. Nice to see DAD standing back and trusting your judgements.
OMG!!!! Brings back so many wonderful memories helping my grandfather plant a spring crop in Balm, Florida. You should be so proud of your work. It’s truly inspirational. Thanks for sharing your project. God bless you.
That’s a real nice job on the M and especially refurbishing the wide front end with adapter plate. They are hard to come by and certain parts are hard to find. 3:173:19
That's an awesome transformation from junk to show tractor. You definitely have a great family to teach you how to properly do things and help you when needed. Congratulations on winning grand championship in FFA. I enjoyed my time in FFA and you have something great to show for it to keep forever. I'm proud of your accomplishments and please keep humble and keep learning as much as possible in life.
KUDOS!!! 👍👍! Great Content! Impressed seeing two young men restoring an old rusty tractor. You're knowledgeable and focused. Never loose your desire to meet new challenges! Keep increasing your knowledge with each project. 🙏From a Granpa in California. Remain Safe & Healthy! 💚
Unbelievable! My grandfather had an M on his farm so this piqued my interest…although his M didn’t look anything like yours. The hours you must have put in are out of this world. Great work!
@@thesmallenginekid I do too! I'm just no where near as talented as you. I subscribed to your channel for more vintage tractor fun. May 2024 be your best year ever! 🚜👍
Beautiful! Short story if i may. I owned 2 Farmall cubs (until they were stolen) and my uncle collected Farmall tractors from the smallest to the biggest, even two M models. 6 acres of land, barns and shacks were full of tractors plus parts of every kind. Family had lived on that same land for well over 150 yrs. Then the county decided they wanted the land so they could expand the county landfill operations and forced my uncle to sell all the land plus the buildings surrounding the old homeplace. He had an auction and sold just about everything tractor related and then moved. That's been 20 years ago and the land has yet to be used. I was out of state at the time so I can only hope they went to a good home.
Big congrats on your win!!! Do me a favor, when you start your video announce yourself and what your doing. This is my first series of yours and I will look for more of your videos.

What an outstanding job you've done! Interesting to note that the 42' was most likely made in 1941 before the war started.
