Thank you Greg for the very good performance. I guess it's worth to work on variations pieces like this one (I never forgot the the Rameau's Gavotte my music teacher used to play when I was a teenager). I guess it's the kind of work that seriously bring you new skills. But my question to you is, I know you're a very advanced player, but how long did it take you to bring the piece at performance level ?
PS : I've been working on Chopin Nocturne OP 27 N2 for now three months (along with other easier pieces). It's not yet at performance level but I can do it at normal speed from start to the end. Is 3 months OK for this kind of piece, or does it mean it's above my level ? Thank you .

Thank you. Well, this piece seems quite easy to memorize and learn to play, but to master it so that it's ready to perform it's another story... It took me about 1 - 1,5 month to feel absolutely comfortable with it. All depends on how much time can you spend on it every day. I was also working on a few other pieces at the same time.

@@gregniemczuk Great, thanks a lot for the answer. I'll probably look at this piece when I'm done with my current works. I love to play the theme with the right hand while doing some scales with the left on every tones. But of course nothing compar with the original Mozart vatiations. PS : I enjoy a lot how you talk about Chopin, it really feels it comes from the bottom of your heart, really appreciate you re genuinely passionate.
