I'm so appreciative of your channel, bud. We are nearly 8 months into quarantine in the US, and upon my girlfriend's last visit home she taught me how to play multiplayer solitaire and Kings in The Corner. She has since returned to a different city for work and I'm home alone with our dogs. She piqued my curiosity in card games and your channel has shown me my two new favorite games, Carpet and Accordion. I can't wait to show her your channel and these new games. You're helping me keep my sanity and she and I are growing closer together with a good old fashioned deck of cards. We appreciate you and your channel, sir. Keep up the good work, you've got one happy subscriber 😊 Blessings from Virginia
It's so great to hear this, you are most welcome! Apologies I haven't done one in a while, I've been writing a children's novel! I hope to add more in the future though. Stay safe and keep playing 😁
@@AdmiralHellShot I love accordion. There is an element of luck but there is enough skill to make me engaged. Is there a specific part that confuses you? Basically, for the most part, every card has two places it can go, provided it is the same suit or value. It is mostly about placing a card and going back over to check all your work along the way. Also, things change so you need to go back and see what you might be able to do based on the changes. I got 3 piles as a record on that one.
I played Accordian, two rounds. I had only one card left the first round, and five miles left the second round. I like this one better than Clock Patience. It has more decisions and looking for matches in it. Thank you for your terrific videos!
I watched the first episode of the series and wondered if there was a second episode. it turned out that an episode had been uploaded an hour ago. I am lucky. Thx!
I am sick at home with COVID I found a deck of cards in my room and realized I didn't know any games to play with myself!! So I look up some solo games and your awesome videos have popped up !! Thank you so much! The way you explain is very clear and helpful I appreciate this video lots!!
its 4am, ive just finished work and im kinda bored of playing solitarie, and i found your videos trying to lear a new game and i played the ones on the fist video, i didnt get that fan, and now on the accordion game i managed to finish with 6 piles, not the best, not the worst hahah i liked the game! edit: second time plating, GOT TO 3 PILES
The first is lovely and elegant. I’d try to lay it out in a pyramid fashion and allow merging along a line. Makes it 2D-ish. And get rid of the adjacent/pair-inbetween restrictions.
Block 11 looks like a poorly thought through Solitaire. It would be a better puzzle if you had the picture cards all in a second deck, shuffled once. End goal to have all distinct figures in both row and columns. First you would need to survive through the number deck. End up in such a way that the end grid has all pairs of 11. Cover up all pairs with the figures but do it such that each row or column has the same suit. You may fan out the figures deck, but not reorder them. Take two adjacent figures from the deck and cover the grid cards that make 11.
Hey Maria 😊 I'm glad you liked it! Let me know of any card games we used to play as children and I'll put it up 👍🤓 I feel like a child again playing these games
I believe the second game may be a bit flawed. There are 12 piles and 12 face cards. The only way you can win is if most of the face cards are near the bottom of the deck.
This is a great observation! That would add a little more skill to the game. Although the rules I have don't specifically say you can go backwards, I would say it is allowed. Thanks for the tip 👍
@@bananas4booksandboardgames752 LOL, I was just poking fun at your own observation. You caught your missed move at 7:18. But now, your reply is confusing me, because you do talk about moving backwards, as long as it is three spaces. Did I misunderstand something?
Hmm, I just checked the link and the audio seems fine. Might be worth restarting your computer and checking sound options in case it's unintentionally muted.
Solitaire be getting old and that’s the only single player card game I knew. This video is awesome
Thanks! 😊

Nice one. Well presented 👍
Thank you! finally understood the accordion instructions lol
Played with as you went along and I got it down to 5 stacks! Beginner's luck 🤞🍀 lol

I'm glad you're enjoying them. It only took me about 2 years to do a second one! 🤣 more to come!
He missed the nine on the three? On the first game

Also, these card videos have been so enjoyable for me to spend time learning, I really appreciate it! Super relaxing, fun and cathartic time
That is lovely to hear and you're most welcome! 🤓
Cool games
Bro I am in college and was board so I am learning this stuff. First try of pure luck got down to three piles!!
I just won block eleven on my first try ever playing it!
The cure for boredom is here. Great video. I’m play accordion right now.
Edit: I got 6 first try. So close.
Fun game.
Thank you 😊 Like this one

Got down to 4 stacks after a couple of attempts! Cracking game!

Yes thanks you are the God that saved me from quarantine
Nice games but a little too much luck for me.
I know how to play regular solitaire, spider and tri peaks. I need to broaden my card game horizon!!!!
Both the games are really great and I will play both of these games ❤️❤️
The first is lovely and elegant. I’d try to lay it out in a pyramid fashion and allow merging along a line. Makes it 2D-ish. And get rid of the adjacent/pair-inbetween restrictions.
It won’t work like an accordeon anymore though...

The first game is quite fun. As a strategy I noticed that you can keep a few moves open and see what cards come out before you make the move.
I love this suggestion! A great tactic and makes the game more enjoyable, the chain reactions are much longer now! Thank you!!! 😊
Haha I was screaming at you too marky!!! 😂 Great video, I particularly like the first game so will give that a go! Looking forward to seeing more!!

@@bananas4booksandboardgames752 Will do marky babs! Clock patience was always me fav innit but I know you've already done that one. Go figure!
The last game I've played slightly differently 3x3 and laying on the pictures once you can see 1 of each. Great games thanks
Thanks for the variation 👍
Thats the version I play Dan, has it got a name?

Olivia and I tried the first game and finished the pack with 3 stacks first go!! Ooosh!! 💪
Ha, that's amazing! The best I could manage was five after many many goes :-)
I MANAGED TO GET TWO STACKS ON MY SECOND TRYYY
Hey man I did it up to 4 piles.
When I first played the third game I got six face cards as a start😅
do a self fortune telling about love 🔮
For the first game I ended up with 2 piles
5:20...can't the 4 of diamonds leapfrog back to the 9 of diamonds? 7:18, yes I was screaming at you. ;)

3:00 but stack 2 and 4 match! Why didn’t you merge these?
I played the second game and won on the second try
Pandora MUSICAL
Are all moves to the left, or can you move 1 to the right adjacent?
Apologies for late response. Yes, you can only stack to the left adjacent or by jumping three cards (to the left)
I got 1 pile first try i swear
Amazing!
I got 3 piles O-O
2:26 why didn’t you put the 8 on top of 4? Is that not allowed or did you choose not to do it
show us a tutorial
Sorry but I beat your high score on the first game
Hi
I got 23 piles, what the frick?
I GOT TWO STACKS FIRST TRY

Am I the only one who is having trouble with the audio?
