I keep seeing people talking about how good Sanhua is. I've been trying to build her but I'm not seeing much damage, I might finally have a decent (not cracked or anything, but decent) echo team for her.

@@zacziggarot Sanhua has the fastest outro buff in the game, and gives so much energy for the team. She does decent amount of dmg during a very small amount of window she's in the field. Sanhua is better at giving energy to the team than yangyang.

my favorite part of the tempest mephis hologram is the camera glitch after parrying a clone where the camera starts to rapidly change between 2 to 3 positions. The tempest mephis already has 2 instant kill attacks plus the clone, he might as well kill lakitu in the process.

I have [3] Five Star Characters and [3] Five Star Weapons right now. Characters are from using the starter banner, free selector, and the 3rd character selector they gave us. The weapons are from the free selector from UL 45, and getting lucky twice on the standard weapon banner in about 60 pulls.
I decided to buy the Battle Pass after hitting lvl 70 on it, since I have enjoyed my time in the game.

I knew that this game would inherently have the same problem that I had with Genshin. After a while, having to do everything manually everyday really makes it feel like a chore and kills my motivation to play. I'm already at that point and now I don't even care if my energy caps out anymore. HSR's auto battle has been the savior for me and why I still play it.
Yeah I feel like all these content creators jumped the gun so bad. Saying Wuwa was better than Hsr is CRAZY, but to each their own

Sea of flames was the most memorable for me, dim forest second most.
As for why I think the exploration feels lackluster for many is probably because it is such a fluid experience it flies by too quick.
HSR literally makes these fleshed-out adorable mini-games for their events, and it's GOATed af tbh XD
7:00, that 3rd floor i used yangyang since i don't have jianxin, i used her with the turtle echo, she's soo good for grouping enemies, and charges her liberation soo fast. Yangyang has insane value in ToA mobs floors. (the team was : yangyang, havoc rover, yinlin)

Regarding the camera, there are a lot of times where I'm casting an ability, and suddenly the game teleports me 20 feet elsewhere and facing away with the enemies behind me.
Is there a camera setting that I need to enable/disable to stop this from happening?
I don't know about the PC version but there's a button at the left hand side of your HP bar to recalibrate the viewpoint to behind your character
On mobile
2 selectors plus the beginner banner is 3 guaranteed five star characters. With all the astrite they give new players, you can easily pull 1 or 2 more not long after starting an account. One of the rare times rerolling on a new account would be pointless, unless you regret your own selection, which they give you twice. Very grateful to kuro! And excited for 1.1!
NUCLEAR take here : The single biggest flaw of the echo system... are the players mentality and lack of restraint. Players need the game to hard gatekeep gear progression otherwise they will complain that they cant progress fast enough EVEN THOUGH the gear progression in this game has been 30x faster than HSR or Genshin. People literally had endgame worthy pieces if not whole builds barely one week in the game. If the gold echoes were locked behind Databank 20 and you needed Sol3 phase 6 for it, no one would even complain because they dont have access to it in the first place. Funny how giving the player more power makes them more entitled to more progression because theyre just greedy and cant understand that they already are progressing faster than they ever did in other games in the same gacha sphere.
We really should have been running around with 4 star echoes until UL 40 but there's not enough to keep people after UL 30 without echo farming I guess? Like there's no reason to overworld farm at UL 30 but at that point you've mostly beaten most of the game. I'm guessing that's why they gave us 5 star echoes at UL 30.
@PyrusnVentus agreed, the way I see it, it's pretty much the same thing as with Minecraft. Now I know that might sound weird, but essentially it's just that going from wood to diamond tools in minecraft is so fast than anything below iron is completely useless after 10minutes of gameplay

My guess is max level characters and weapons with decent echoes will dumpster the game and ruin it for hardcore players. I only say this cause it's a gacha and it happens in almost every gacha. Keep your characters and weapons level 70-80 forever if you want to maintain the challenging part of the game. People will probably start realizing around 1.3 but of course I hope I'm wrong and it doesn't happen sadly it's very likely.
They can simply add higher difficulty like dif 8 hologram in the future or something... Of course if they want to do it or not
@@Aezthet1C they could but honestly it would have to go up to like diff 9 or so like u said. Some people beat dif 6 while still having everything level 60-70 and decent gear. Now obviously the avg person won't they had to play really well to do so but still with a few months of investment it would be a joke. Currently doing things your own level or close to ur own level is pretty easy. Especially with future characters potentially increasing our teams power levels with better passives and intro/outro skills. Would have to add more than just dif 7 so hopefully they have some stuff planned. Just hoping they don't go the typical gacha game route.

Maybe you characters can still get 1shot but atleast you have to parry and dodge way lesser time.
I was always telling people that holograms bosses will die like nothing when we get to lvl 90 and lvl9-10 skills, but they refuse to believe. Today I watched IWTL video where he shows how just 10 character lvls and 2lvl of skills increase his dmg by 39%. Lvl80 chars just get 39% increase dmg compare to lvl 70…

You can easily start the game with 4 5*. I personally started with Yinlin + verina + Emerald Genesis + Unused 5* Selector Ticket at Union Lvl 3 on my 29th reroll

@Mrpokke, ping doesnt matter, because you are doing content based on client side. Unless you are doing some Multiplayer stuff and you are not the host.

bro, ping matters. there is no client side for this game. On some evenings i have 150+ ping only on WUWA and as a league player who is used to 12 ping, anything above 50 feels unplayable to me.
@@darkgrundi9543 in league it matters, even when ping goes to 50ms in league I can feel it because its not smooth canceling stuff. But in this game, combat seems to be server side. Anyway, only developers can confirm it. I am telling my exp and reddit related questions. You know how you could check about ping ? if u have the time create an account in a server far from your location, progress until hologram tactics, and tellme what you notice.
the quest mtashed was talking about is zhonglis quest he gives you after finding every Geoculus in Liyue , it actually one of genshins fun quest imo just a pain to get unlocked and you get rewarded with ur first 5 star artifact no matter what level you are
That ain’t Zhongli’s quest . That’s just a quest you just get if you break one of the pillars , there’s no npc for the quest

The "have a generic sword that do it's job or swing a feeble stick and try hard with everything" argument is not something I see discussed that often and mtashed could be the only one that brought it up lately.
I know someone who did it but it's just boring because gacha games are meant to sell characters, not replace elden ring

WuWa has been very fun for me, but I can't deny that it is VERY unoptimized for mobile. Until it does, it's taking the backseat. I'll pull for Changli and dip if it doesn't change soon.

Wuwa doesn't have elemental reactions. Just look at Yinlin and her overloaded outro skill. All it takes is some bigger numbers and Mortefei will be outclassed.
2:54 no , he is actually correct. I made a reroll account to see how fast i can progress after story skip was added on the day yinlin came out.
I got 3 5 stars in 30 mins, 32 on the 40 banner, 10 on the 80 one and the free one, all after just hitting UL 5.
And on the next day I was able to hit pity on yinlin banner at 70 and get Yinlin , all within 2.5 hours of play.
4 is absolutely doable if someone plays for a couple hours for 3 days.

Idk... Wuthering waves definitely has high skill ceiling, but from what I can tell about 70% of your skill is for survivability, 20% for your skill is for parry to brake toughness bar faster and about 10% is for optimizing animation cancels and rotations... All in all it feels like 70% is for defense and you can only modify your damage by about 20% using your skill as a player. Rest is dps check... but that is just my impression so far...

There are a ton of animations cancel people don't know about. Calcharo has like 3 different ones you need to do in 1 rotation and has a very small window
I think wuwa and also genshin could make exploring more like in normal rpgs where we get actually atleast one good quest specific to each area that might even change the area and does involve the playable characters or maybe future playable character. Also we should have better rewards then only asterites for everything, give us a quest that gives us a 4 star weapon or an item that gives us a reroll on one stat, that would be so cool and a way to make exploring also part of growing character strenght
You might need 9 units now but I’ll predict that once are units are Lv90 with maxed skills will probably only need 3-6 units maxed to clear tower.
22:00 well but it's still annoying to play for 2 hours every day just to get maybe 1 or 2 on set elemental damage main stat echos.
the thing about having 300+ ping is that the dodge and parry timing is off but the crucial part is that you cant switch with a press of a button, you would press 1,2 or 3 and waited for a solid 2 second for the character to swap cause ping are just that important
It sounds like you haven't played the game, because swaps in WuWa are client-side.
i play on 300 ping, and it's true... more than once i've heard the parry sound, the boss even staggers, and i take damage. it's hilarious when i look back, but in the moment, it's frustrating AF.
Told myself I wouldn't reroll for once, then at UL33 in the first few days I had an S6 Chixia and no 5 stars that I wanted. Rerolled like 8 times and started with 4 5-stars averaging 15 pulls each, then won the 50/50 for yinlin (soft pity) and got her weapon in like 30 pulls. It was hellish to redo everything but there's no content in the game anyway, what was I really missing?

Playing the game casually for long term
Unfortunately on my 2014 pc i have pretty low fps (in closed areas like mat farm arenas game works great), no smoothness, some delay issues and this stupid system beeping that turns off my mouse for some reason (+buttons won't register). I can't find what causes this even after going through threads about this problem. But with 20+ years of gaming exp and all kinds of struggles, it's not enough to stop me.
Acc lvl 45 and i don't like to focus on leveling just 2-3 people (boring), i builded 6 (+3 around lvl 50\60 partially). Everyone has at least 60% cr, some have above 220 cd full ele sets. For progression it's nothing different from other gachas. Even echo exp\stat mats, pretty sure i played some gachas with far worse mats gains. It's still slow, i just used to it. Towers and holograms, naah, don't worry about it. Without good rewards i usually less motivated to try hard\sweat. So i will just lvl everyone to 80 and maybe then (if not get as far as you can before reset). Exploration is exploration, nothing crazy, but for movement running on walls is a game changer. It feeks so good. In ToF (don't play it these days, it's a powercreep simulator) you have magnet boots gadget or something, you can run for like 30 sec (you can dupe it, same constellation system with 4\5 star gadgets, gives you more charges + more time). In Genshin, well, fuck you in Genshin. At least it works perfectly.
In sim uni you can win every level before 70 easy. Then on 70 i couldn't clear it with Taoqi and Yinlin, but Chixia is the easiest run ever. It's crazy how much more dmg she pumps. Get rider as synergy. Most of buffs (esp meteors) and you can slide with skill all the time with 2 sec cd after 3rd slide. Crownless - bro just walks 95% of the time, swings 2-3 times max (Malenia move triggers at any distance). Reminds me of some DS bosses ai wise, if you are outside of his atk range and not too far he just always walks. As last boss i got rider and you can slide
un away from most of his attacks while shooting. Crazy dps, fastest boss clears. I kinda wish lvl 80 was a thing (maybe in 1.1).

I played a lot of combat like this one (nier, grand blue relink, tale arise, dmc) and its my less favorite fast pace combat. Just so people understand that it is an opinion forged by experience. You like wuwa better while I personally like Genshin more. You guys really need to accept people have different opinions without going in the insults. No need to get the approbation of influencers either. I think mtashed did understand that

As far as i know mtashed i think all of those gacha games are not for him, because he goes in with the mindset of a mmo. For example, my Union lvl in wuwa is 46 and i still really really do enjoy the game and play it daily. However that doesnt mean that i grind 24/7 every day. I personaly focused a lot of my time beating the hardest content, like all holograms on 6, so i didnt even start to actually explore the map. I think i still have so much content to do, but thats only because i play like 1-2 hours of wuwa every day. On top of that ill get even more stuff to do in 1 week with the new patch and probably wont finish everything until 1.2. Thats how i play my gacha games and thus really enjoy them. However like i said, if you go into the game with the mindset of a mmo, u will reach the end of the content relatively fast, because u probably play the game for more than 5 hours each day and the game is simply not designed for those kind of customers. Maybe if they implement some form of pvp which has a leaderboard or something, you could spend a loooot more time, because then learning everything about every comb, every charakter, all weapons, all echos and so on, becomes extremly valuable and forces you to invest more time IF u care about the pvp. Anyways, i will stick to the game because i GENUINELY belive, that the core of Wuwa is destined for success and can only succeed, if the devs do it right.

i saw people push hologram 6 at level 60, but most people just spread their resource too thin. but I think there is no point in pushing hologram 6 at this point anyway. they all level 90 for a reason.

The 5 star weapons *should* be much better than 4 star. Because then the weapon banner actually matters. And in WuWa the weapon banner is guaranteed
This game has force me to min max calcharo 💀 since i lost the discounted banner with lingyang they gave me like 4 calcharo .
some good points were made , but the major point I don't really agree with is the "there is no content" point. ofc there isn't much content to do if you blitz through the game . That's the same way I felt about genshin and starrail. Once I complete the patch content I have nothing to do but log in , do dailies and wait for next patch. Like I don't think there is a single gacha game that doesn't go through this phase of a patch .

The story is definitely still pretty weak in the beginning although it got really good later on, and the English voice actors need to be improved and maybe even re record past quest lines. And the echo system is still rather flawed but they are working on that already. one great thing is we can actually trust kuro to improve on these flaws
@@skyoimiya I'm skeptical Kuro really cares about fixing issues like the echo system. They've known it was a bottle neck to gate progression and after two betas it seems pretty intentional. Being low on echo exp is there by design. It's the resource you'll need the most exp for and the exp items cost more than resonator/weapon exp in the shop. Echoes end up being over half your stats even at level 90 😑

my ping is 42-52 sometimes have spikes over 100 but already finished all shit in game and waiting for the new patch I even got exploration 100% for all zones which I usually don't do that means the game is good when you wanna waste time and not feel bad about it.
Me too! I already 100% all of my areas and Im only at UL42. Encore is the only character I fully built (Skill upgrades and echoes). I still have something to do everyday so I wasn't burned out.
the performance issue is most because Kuro decided to go on Unreal 4, Unity is a lot easier to optimize

The reason you have 200 ping is either you choose america or asia server instead of sea since your from Malaysia
Im from Philippine when i choosed asia server my ping was 300 now that i switch to sea server my ping is 60-100

Mtashed legit the only major CC that didnt endlessly shill the game. Hit the nail on the head with the 7/10 rating. Game definitely came out a bit undercooked, probably due to shareholders rushing it out. Game is just lacking in substance and its endgame grind just isnt fun or engaging for me. #Overhyped #JustMediocre

the rng rate for echos relative to how much exp/tuners you could get is fucking terrible.
At the end of the day its a gacha game. You will run out of things to do when you play 10 hours per day. And thats totally fine, I just think Mtashed sounds a little bit negative that the game doesnt have enough content when he played non stop the first 3 weeks
