What I could tell about watching this in 2024 is that she has passion and determination. It shows when I watched this screen clip. I would have hired her after watching this. I don't know much about her, but I can tell she had a great career. The bad news is there are a lot of people who don't know when they see talent.💯
Just WOW! My hero. She is talented, and smart, strong, kind, and beautiful. Ann rocks & rules!
Hello Sarah
How are you doing today?
She has so much charisma she even easily made Elvis look shy
No
YES
nothing made him shy.
@@marilynwillett804 Elvis was naturally shy anyway.
Beautiful. Natural beauty. Even now she still a beauty 👑
There are millions of other girls that are just as pretty as she is, but there's just something about her that makes her stand out. She's definitely got that X factor.
We call that Charisma...
She always stayed a Vegas "vixen" act. She never became a huge "star". My guess is that eventually her "hotness" became embarrassing because it wasn't genuine.
@@michael69040 Fool! You claim her hotness was fake? Just look at her - that is NOT fake. You are obviously gay, not to appreciate her, or are you impotent?
Wow, imagine a producer, director seeing that tape for the first time and thinking "what have I discovered!😲". Her energy, talent and charisma just leaps from the film onto the screen, even at that young age. Amazing.
This the sexiest thing I've seen on tv, and without REVEALING anything
This was considered a very revealing costume at the time, with the skin-tight pants. You'd have been complaining back then
Not one current entertainer holds a candle to miss Margret.
Ann-Margret is nothing but awesome!!!
@Abigail J Okay. And hahahaha!
I mean, they’re plenty of current artists just as good as she is.
But in her own right, she’s legend 💯
Yeat
She surely showed she needed no screen test, so fresh and natural, she would deliver the job without a doubt!! :)
@James Hama I'm great
! It's my b'day today, so I'm doing all right, thanks for asking, Cheers!
@James Hama SO happy belated b'day to you!:)
❤Ann Margaret is one of the most beautiful and talented women ever! Stunning!!!!!
She definitely had the full talent package...lovely to watch!
Supa Nova..... a `triple threat`
Absolute legend and goddess. Style, attitude, talent, confidence, and beauty personified.
Ann Margret was absolute fire.❤️❤️❤️
Her schtick is super annoying. Could not have taken any more of her affectations. Plus, she couldn't throw away a wad of paper.
@@beastslayer3228😂😅
She's a beautiful & talented woman, but this performance is really about how her charisma makes her absolutely glorious. When she showed up for Viva Las Vegas, Elvis met his match.
To be honest, she's not a great singer
Travis Johnson it’s def more personality. Like a lot of famous singers.
@@Udontkno7 agreed.
One a scale of 1 to 10, some singers like Sinatra or Elvis are very high on both the vocal and charisma scale.
Others are very high on vocal but are not exceptionally charismatic and vice versa.
I think Ann-Margret is like a 9 or 10 on charisma but a 6 on vocal talent
aren’t you? Oh you are so right.
She is good looking, but not great looking.
She has a good body, but it is not great.
She has a good voice, but it is not great.
She is a good dancer, but not great.
She is a good actor, but not great.
But oh man she has great style.
And even centuries later, this girl will be as desirable as then and today!
Mmnope it's a man.
What did Elvis ever see in her? 🤩
Ann-Margret was and still is a more talented superstar than the crap on the internet these days. A true beauty whose physical beauty is only shadowed by her inner beauty. Never met a man who actually met her and didn't melt.
So truly talented. Beautiful and hard worker! Wish it was colorized to see her natural almost black hair.
no green screen, no computer, one long shot. true talent!
Nothing compares to Ann Margret - one of the most beautiful women who ever lived
I agree, she's very beautiful and seductive, but in the world no, there is some woman out there, possibly shovelling shit in the backyard that no ones ever seen who is more beautiful. what's the saying. always someone more smarter, better looking etc
Loved her with that darker hair
@@rosemariemartin1361 Don't ignore the subjectivity. That inknowm woman yoi speak of might possibly ne better looking to you, but not for the guy who made the comment.
I look at ot like this... You could spend hours debating who os the most beautiful, but it's in the eye of the beholder, and the neholder may chamge his mind from o e day to the next, this I look at it like there are women who are equally gorgeous, so I say they are tied for the first place position
In fact I say there are millions tied for first place.
My wife is a lot more gorgeous
Rosemarie Martin Rosemarie, You get to the point, and are correct on those that are not in sight. And maybe Ann has earlier in life, that very experience you speak of.
I can see why the king was smitten with her.
I can see why anybody with an active pulse would be smitten with her
Only thing is He wasn't the king.
@@elypowell6797 referring to Elvis as “king”
As a 10 yr old in 1961 I had a huge crush on Ann-Margret, it was her red hair that won me.
Why would she have to beg Bill Bailey to come home if I was Bill Bailey I'd be running home at full speed
You mean you'd come quickly
LOL!!

She has the purr and growl of Eartha Kitt. Love them both. ❤️
You're hired!
You made me laugh so loud I was afraid I might have woken the neighbors.
hahaha
Exactly! Why wouldn't you?
She is hot !!
Lol
She was a stunning beauty and extremely talented!
Ann Margaret in 1961. Proof there's no such thing as time travel , otherwise thousands of men in time machines would have materialized just then.
Haha! SO true!
Yep.
if you can invent time machine you can invent invisible cloack an all other shit that we dont even imagine
Absolute proof!
was wondering what to do with my time machine. Bye all.
The nice thing about this is everything is real.
No implants, hair extensions, duck lips, fillers, implants or tattoos. A real natural woman.
Lol thats the truth
💯
She's most likely responsable for many cases of deafness over the years

This is why Elvis LOVED her!! 💕👏🏼👏🏼

Leggings as pants before there were leggings as pants.
Opaque tights and leotard bottoms; sexier than leggings for sure.
That was the fashion back then for singers/dancers. Check out Mary Tyler Moore pics from back then. Fashion comes in and goes out only to come back in later.
@@privatebubba8876 ..yup
Mrs. Scott women look great in leggings. Some more than others
I was JUST thinking that LOL!
No autotune, all natural beauty, no implants, great voice, amazing body language and movement all while singing at the same time. No woman in today's industry has this amount of talent. Most of today's artists, both male and female are vulgar and rely on surgeries, lip sync or playback, drama and gimmicks lol
ite not quite that extereme.
@@michelleregis6181 Swift's first two albums were so auto-tuned (not once, but over and over and over painstakingly one note at a time) it wasn't even her voice... nothing but a computerized version of it. She had to take singing lessons for years (after she was a 'star') to actually be able to carry a tune in a bucket. And the majority of the today's superstar's 'live' shows are lip synced. The best meme I've seen about Swift... She's made millions with songs about her bad choices in men... and she's endorsed Joe Biden :)

@Jason Butche LOL Your point about the tattoo here is well taken...I think they are gross but yeah but she's all covered up anyway.
Actually probably wearing a girdle underneath to make the hips stick out.
As I recall, we wore girdles more to keep everything from jiggling about, not to change our figures. Sort of like armour. Girdles won’t make you skinnier and you’ll spend all day fidgeting with them if they are too small, they just ride up or roll down. However, having your butt or belly looking soft and and warm to the touch was often considered much too sexy for polite company, which was exactly Marilyn Monroe’s charm.
Never seen this before and am loving it. Can imgine at the time this caused a stir.
I don't think Ann Margaret was quite 20 here. She had such talent and confidence. I love to watch her!!
