The cracks on the mirror from the white paint could be if the paint has acetone and the mirror is made from extruded acrylic, anywhere that is laser engraved or laser cut that gets acetone on it will craze (small cracks). Same thing if methylene chloride/Dichloromethane (ingredient in acrylic cement) or alcohol touches a laser engraved or laser cut edge.

Nice video once again Gord, you keep amazing me on what is possible with the Bolt. Rattle can paints are tricky, thickness of spray onto the surface (wood, metal, acrylic) is not the user, its the paint and the distance to the surface for different colors. White went on thicker and didn't dry at same rate causing some small cracks, try a 4th time farther away, one light coat to see if that helps. My thoughts only my friend. Cheers and have a great Fathers Day and a COOL week with the incoming heat wave.

Happy Fathers Day Gord !! Enjoyed the video, looks good to me. I enjoy the fact that I will never get into the laser trend but being precise with lines falls in with my laser for welding. Like my welding there's always lots of touch up and grinding and PAINT. You're doing a great job and striving to turn out perfect products. Thanks for working out the cons with the things you run into. I'm sure your advice really helps more folks than those who really admit it. Keep up the great work and the fun you all have around there. Fred.

Thank you for the video, though the magnifying glass didn’t help much and appears foggy/dirty.

Have you tried engraving the back of a regular mirror? You may have similar results. I usually pick up mirrors that people are throwing away and cut them into small pieces.

So you spray your colors on the back???

I do . I engrave off the grey mirror coating off the back and the colour in the different pats on the back. :))
