Argh, this feels frustrating! Can barely get it on boost and it's time for the next braking zone. Awesome car, don't get me wrong! But for the Ring? Too much to be fun, it feels like.
Yep! Was thinking the exact same thing! Way too much power and hard work to enjoy a track a full speed... Total opposite of Misha's upload yesterday... some people need to learn that it's not always about power, unless you're doing a quarter mile run...
The throttle control is incredible, surely a tall task to keep that thing going in a straight line, let alone around Nurburgring. When you see the cars with a Gatebil sticker, you know you're in for a treat... these Scandinavians tend to get a little crazy with their cars :D
@@samb8860 its a car meet in Norway startet by some friends in early 90s and became what it is today from early 2000s. also got Gatebil on ice where they drive on frozen lakes

I’m totally out off breath just watching this video Misha, what it must be like in the car must be amazing. You go go from a corsa yesterday to this absolute beast but you enjoyed both rides equally as much. Really love your content 👍
My absolute favorite looking of the M3's. One thing for sure is that they were a little underpowered, but 1300 hp, that's insane! Was it just me, or did it look like warp speed?
Loving this footage!! Foot cam, dash, and reactions from passengers and a ripping fast lap on the ring! Top notch! Your subscriber from Texas salutes you Misha (and Pancake too!). Lol
Oh damn! I still remember this E30 from like 2013 or something when it was for sale, it had 1300HP back then too. One of the coolest cars ever imo. Awesome to see it's still being driven hard.
Well, considering the rear well was missing 2 bolts and drive-shaft was vibrating crazy underneath this was absolutely riding a monster-beast.. yieah.. i know some BMW fans might scream sacrilege transplanting such car with a new heart like the crazy 2JZ engine and boosted the power up to 1300 bhp for RWD only.. sorry but this thing is nothing but a crazy-beast.. and hat off for that dude slicing corners like that in this missile with all issues described.. holly molly, strap harder them seat-belts and hold on tight.. is a race-lap.. ;0)
I've been building my MkIV Supra for ages and sometimes I hop on YT looking for road-race/circuit vids to hear 2JZs screaming in something other than a 1/4 mile. THIS. FRICKEN. DELIVERED. Insane build! It was going from 200kph to 250 in the blink of an eye! Sooooo much power! Agree with other comments, it seemed almost unusable. I think I'll be happy with 600 fast-spooling hp in my JZA80...
Such a sweet yet insane ride! And very good to see the driver knows the limit(ations) of the car, the gearbox and especially the track. Good show! There's nothing that makes me smile more than being overtaken on a trackday by an E30, amazing body design. A car well done... imagine this back in the 80's, this much power.... as kimi would say: "Bwoaaaah"
looks and sounds insane, but this car is the prefect example of "too much power". the power/grip ratio is off the charts, which can be fun, but unusable on racetracks.
That thing is a straight up time machine!! I've watched a lot of your videos and cant recall the last time something you were in looked this fast on camera.
Even less than 500 HP is already enough to run a car like this at the ring!!! Regardless, I do love touring race style cars, GT3 inspired machines, and Time Attack hill climb machines!!!
Back a wonderful video Misha.Thank you!Happy to let us get a taste of Nurburgring riders each in their own way and with their own inspiration.Every time I see you in a car I think you are a living crash test dummy, one with a lot of courage. I went to see the Nurburgring for the first time in the weekend of 20.08. Mighty. I was on the other side of the fence. And the people who were there felt like one big loving family. Wonderful feeling! I still enjoy it. Next year I will definitely go back. Wish you a lot of safe success!
Ha ha ha chilling out with the Buldre Race team during Gatebil 100 was one of the coolest experiences! The guys are awesome and their cars are insane! Great GREAT chaps ☺️☺️
I’ve been lucky enough to go to Gatebil with my car from the UK and to experience what those guys do with their cars, it’s just insane! What a monster!
It might be over powered for the Ring, but this guy can go from winning quarter miles all night to laps on the Ring the next day without changing anything.
wow,the constant scream of the tires ,the brute force at each gear change ,the wining of the strait teeth gears, the power beast is impressive, looks very visceral ,I like it a lot
That car is crazy fast you could clearly see that it wanted to go faster ,kudos to the driver for timing the beast and Misha for being brave to seat on the passenger side
My favorite car ever. For those who don't know this car, might wanna do a little research first. This car has done everything. From nurburgring, to full send it at gatebil, to even breaking top speed records on ice. His top speed on ice is higher than 99% of the people here commentating ever did on a perfect conditions track or road. If he fully send it in the ring, I doubt the tyres would last a hole lap 😅
Wheelspin in third gear was impressive, massive skidding. Don't even drive it on the edge, I guess it's very difficult to drive such a car. Misha, drive around and give us your impressions, please! ;-)
quite an amazing car. The limiting factor being the chassis but I suppose thats what makes it so exciting with all of the power that it has. I loved watching the speed climb so quikly!
This guy has one of the most entertaining hillclimb runs I’ve ever seen, I have it saved and rewatch it all the time lol. Just look up 2jz e30 hillclimb
Glad you guys ended safely without losing the wheel. Your editing equipment is still yours :). If any of the other cars were recording on track during that run, they will be uploading “when you think you are fast” clips here soon.
Mesmerising lap. Speeds between corners were consistently high (of course). Tyres on the limit almost 100% of the time. Very well driven to be pushing so hard on the first lap with no boo boos at all. What you'd expect from a professional race driver. Not random praise; I had a brief racing career in my 20's. This video raises a significant point about Misha's career at the moment; he is trusting the (usually) amateur "tuners" to present him with a safe car to hop into and go pretty much full send. It was disturbing to see 3 missing wheel bolts on one wheel... Aviation pilots flying even the most modest Cessna are trained to inspect the plane every time they hop into it: wheels, undercarriage, airspeed pitot tube, all control surfaces to look and feel right, prop, any leaks, etc. And that is because very often they are flying a "hire" or somebody else's plane. I think Misha needs an auto mechanic associate/buddy in his enterprise to check out all of these cars before Misha buckles up and heads out onto the 'ring.
It seems like he would love to go faster....and the car could go faster... But russian roulette isn't on the program today 😂 What a beast of a car. Like the fact that it's an E30 too. Great guy for sharing the experience!

I myself would already shat on my pants driving an AMG GT Black Series on a sim at the Nurburgring but this?! Truly unbelievable!!! A car with this kind of setup would normally do couples of runs or pulls at the Autobahn or a drag race!! What a nice ride man!!! Late comment btw!!

Of course, 1300hp with something that light blows the tires off in EVERY gear, so he must short shift to retain traction
@@DastardlySnake I can imagine! He’s just playing with the low boost at this point!

The gears are straight cut, to save them he uses the clutch when he can/when he’s not on +50% throttle.
Awesome video and car was fun to watch, and even more fun the second time at double playback speed !
