With Shadow Rush having imprisoned her within the world of his own Creations, Paper Cut must now find a way to escape from her dream turned nightmare. Unbeknownst to her, a familiar duo look to show her just what she's become a part of now.

One whole year between episodes, and the next chapter is finally here. We apologize again for the long wait, but Psycho and I still hope that you all will enjoy the fruits of our labor.

You are a genius shadow. So many characters here old and new. Dick Sandvich, Kami, Chibi Mikos, Buddhist Murder Pyro, the Elements of Insanity, the Cutie Mark Creeps, Magic Mare and Painset Shimmercakes, Melantha, etc. And Now Paper Cut is expected to lead them all as their new author.
I can only imagine what chapter 3 will be like. P.S. Love the revamped Gospel of Dismay song. It's really catchy!

This is definitely worth a wait. I’m even surprised that Wubcake and Ditzy Dubs have dubbed “Gospel Of Dismay” from DAGames which is my favorite part of this video. Awesome job Shadow! Keep up the good work!

Dude Kami and Heavy. Spyite and the old gang. Seeing them all after so long with your modern animation...it kinda brought a tear to my eye. I remember almost all of this characters from back in the day. I got super crazed after seeing them so this whole vid was more than worth the wait.

Love how she ended up being transformed and subsequently seemingly corrupted~ The idea of an intoxicating concoction of insanity and power, and I just love the way it's represented in here, just as your work always has done a good job representing it~

Maybe that's what they meant by "As long there's a new creator" from those past videos.
Destroy the person, the shadow lives on. A new creator will then dawn the hat and the shadow grows stronger.

I can understand why this took so long, what with recording the dub for the song, the amount of models you had to work and the effects. But I can definitely say that it was worth it. And just in time for Halloween, Sweet dreams everyone.

Wow. This was so fantastic and I gotta give the voice actors some credit for singing the Gospel of Dismay song. They must've had some real fun singing that awesome song by DAGames and the voice acting was really on point too. A job well done InvertedShadow and everyone else who has contributed to this video.
That was worth the wait. The dubing of the song was great and the story was good too. Though I do worry for Papercut considering she corrupted now. Hopefully, she'll find a way out of this. But maybe we'll learn a little more next time.

First off this was worth the wait. You're animations always seem to bring a smile to my face. The swanky-ness of the PI series is just icing on the cake.
That said, if your goal was to bring attention to your earlier works, it was met. I'm going back through your older stuff. So :)

Wow, this guy is a helluva animator, I dare say the best.

Actually, I don't mean to be mean, but I really wish your animation had a little more fluidity to it. You're doing a lot of things right with the expressions and how the characters are moving, but they could move more. While I get you're working with a minimalist method like anime, adding more follow-through in your animations to adhere to physics goes a long way to make everything look so much better.
I am in love with Paper Cut's design as well as Shadows, and all these other characters you allude to (especially the Elements of Insanity), but what I'd love to see is even more life breathed into them! (If you want a reference for what I mean, check out Argodaemon's stuff, it's wicked fluid and expressive)
Another upside to doing this is that you'll be able to show more than tell. I like your story, but you've got a bunch of dialogue and not a lot of action. I recommend balancing it a little more, and then you've got a recipe for something truly amazing!
I must have a song cover to your version of "the gospel of dismay" it's so good and need it for my playlist fam, other than that I really enjoyed the chapter and cannot wait to find out what happens next fam!!!
