It's great to see you promoting bees 🐝 They are very important to the earth and smarter than people realize. Thank you for all our your contributions! We are subscribed 😀 🙌
They are getting into you compost in the air holes on each side. Cover that part with small mesh & they won’t be able to get in. Fighting a losing battle otherwise. In my opinion. 💚
Those 'bees' tell a story about your compost Alicia - that compsot is GOOD! One thing bees really like about compost is the humic acid content [think minerals and beneficial bacteria]. Let that compost pile go for another year, then you'll be able to recover most of the content. In the meantime...build another compost pile. You can never have enough compost! Cheers...
To deal with stings, use a solution of bicarbonate of soda for bees, or vinegar for ... vosps?! Joking aside, this was quite an undertaking and seems to have ended well for everyone concerned, especially the bees. Well done!
Alicia Silverstone is a wonderful person, great mom, and goddess of a woman. She is so talented and intelligent, and everything she does is from a good place… love, caring and compassion for animals, people, and the planet. She is truly an ambassador of kindness, pulling on people’s heart strings as well as intellect to promote positive change. Importantly, she is willing to meet people wherever they are in their life journeys, which is crucial for not alienating people and inspiring them to make positive changes in their lives; changes that will not only benefit them personally but will also positively affect the world, perhaps only in small ways on a personal level but in big ways cumulatively. Alicia is absolutely lovely, inspiring, and beautiful inside and out. The world is no doubt a better place for having her in it, and Alicia should be cherished for the treasure she is. Alicia Silverstone inspires me to try to live a more kind, healthy and beautiful life, my best life. Thank you Alicia.
Alicia, have you heard about south american stingyless bees? They produce a more liquid and acidic honey, perfect for cooking! And a lot of others health benefits, maybe theres some species in north america too they are amaizing!
Please just let it go, Alicia 😅 They stole your compost, the best thing to do would be to let them have it. I imagine they got angry because they were smoked out, you have to put yourself in their position to see it from their perspective. You may need to relocate the entire thing because its their home now. (If you get winter weather, you may be able to get it back from them after they've gone away or died but I think with all those stings you guys got, the bees have said their piece) You'll come up with a better construction for the next compost bin you create and make it so that they can't make a home in it. Maybe check out the idea of the rotating ones Best of luck with it and I hope you do decide to leave the bees alone now ✌️
I'm SHOCKED at the ignorant removal process...get someone that UNDERSTANDS bees, and isn't some joke. They will properly and humanely relocate the bees. This guys a joke. Find the queen FIRST and they will come on their own. No struggle, no smoke. And you are just cutting and jabbing their honeycomb??? Do better!! This was so sad and frustrating, it's not a joke!
Thank you for properly relocating the bees. It’s a win win for both you and the bees 🐝 😊
