The medal piece is from a pocket knife. Good effort on the test of equipment. See you again soon and wish you success with the test and finding treasure.
My grandfather carried a pocketknife like that one for many years. The moment she showed that find those memories of him using it came back and that was some 50 plus years ago... What a treasure she found. Thanks for the memories... God knew I needed my spirits lifted and that did it for me... Be blessed... BBE
I was looking forward to the completion of the Deus. That one didn’t look like it did well ether in the water. Thanks for the reviews. 👍. After tons of reviews including yours also. I got my eye on the Whites surfmaster
The Deus is doing great so far! I'm really enjoying hunting with it and the Impact. :) I just posted this weeks video and it's with the Deus, make sure to check it out. :) Oh very cool.
My vote is with The big man. If I could give you one more of my sometimes shaky ideas. When you are out testing a new machine it may help to bring some change along so you can test what the effect of making changes to your settings is having. I have a bunch of pennies that I painted pink and use them for testing when I get in highly mineralized sand or in and out of the water. We have a lot of black sand and magnetic sand here and this method works well for me. So glad to see you wearing your gloves. Good video GL&HH
That's a great idea, painting the pennies so you can see them when they are on the ground. I'll have to look into doing that! Oh yes, I'm pretty good about wearing them now. :)
Hey SD was a nice hunt. The long silver colored object with the holes is the outside cover to a pocket knife. You found one that looked exactly like that before. I'd almost bet they came from the same knife. Always enjoy your videos !!!
Have you given up on the deus??? The silver thing at 19:55 is a scale(side bit) from a pocket knife and could be silver would be a good idea to check that Mark keep the video comes GL&HH Simon
Not a chance! :) Next weeks video will be of the Deus. I'm bouncing around between the machines. I'll be adding another to the mix soon too. Not next week, but the following week probably. :) Yea, I think you're right about the part being from a pocket knife. :)
Another good video-----pretty sure you do your homework before testing ! I"m a DEUS user but find the machine is good in the field but sadly lacking on the wet sand. Multi frequency is the way forward for detecting at the water edge and in the wet sand. Looking forward to your in depth report on the Equinox 800. On the waiting list here in the U.K. Thanks for the video . Mike.
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Well, that depends. I might watch a video or two but honestly I like going into it not knowing much. Then I can see how easy it is right out of the box. I'm able to see if there's a huge learning curve and such. :) It'll probably be a little bit before I get to test the Nox. I've got several machines lines up for testing so that will take some time. Oh good, hopefully you get it soon! :)
Great video SD!! When you have the chance, could you get a better mic, that you can pin to yourself. That way we can here you as you sound, as the current mic is muffled and not in stereo. Thanks again for your videos and good luck on your hunts.
Another great and informative video ..... two beaches in one day. I would still be afraid to bring the Nokta too far into the water. Seems you may like the Sito more than the T-Rex. Rex must miss you ;-) I hope Elsea & Rex are not conspiring to get even.
Thank you! Yea, you for sure have to be careful when hunting in the water. Well, I honestly like both scoops but I do prefer the sito scoop on land and trex in the water. The reason is the sito has bigger holes so using it on land is better because if a small target keeps falling through the holes, I can use my pin pointer. In the water, I want to keep the small targets from falling out so I use the trex and don't lose the small targets. :) He'll be out with me mostly in the summer. Lol! I hope they aren't too!
Nice vid again SD, I have the Impact too and its a very capable machine, but not really a water machine, I have just picked up a Makro Kruzer which IS waterproof and very good as well. I think the mystery silver object may well be a side to a pocket knife possibly. Keep em coming :)
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Yea, I always have to keep that in mind that it's not built specifically for the beach but overall it's not bad. Oh yea? How are you liking it so far? Oh I totally know what you mean about it being from a pocket knife. That makes sense. :)
Dear Queen of the watermelons .. As I say you are the legendary of digger's . nokta machine is great and at very soon it will be ready to be a waterproof machine so the Marko kruzer is good also and together have amazing targets recovery . god bless you Queen . regards
Good review and video! searching in the waves can be very hard, even swinging in 2 feet can be a workout. You might not want to answer this and that's fine but how many detectors that you have been sent to review have you actually sent back? If I was 1 of these big company's and I only sent 1 detector out to someone I would just let them keep it, but that's just me. see you in the next video!
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Oh tell me about it. Water hunting is hard for sure. It's slow going the deeper you go. Well I've sent back a few actually. Kellyco sent me several in the beginning like the AT Pro the Whites Beachhunter the Tesoro Sand Shark, Fisher CZ-21, & the Whites MX Sport. All those I sent back. All the rest I still have although I will be sending the Go-Find 20 back once I'm done with it. :)
I have not been successful finding targets with the Nokta Impact in wet sand or shallow beach water. I have tried COG mode, but it’s not working for me.
Hi! It's built really well actually. But, if you're a beach hunter, there are many other machines I would purchase for that kind of money. The Impact is a great machine, but it's not a beach machine primarily.
Madison Maine Both great machines. I do have the Nokta Impact myself and it an awesome land machine but if you want a beach fully waterproof detector which is awesome on land and the beach, then you want the 'Makro Kruzer Multi'. Makro is Noktas sister company and the software is tried and tested. It also has the same settings as the Impact and is easy to setup or switch on and go. I've ordered a Kruzer and can't wait to get going with it. With Equinox I would hang back and see how it goes. I wouldn't mind one myself but it's not really had much testing in the field as yet and some have had problems. So when the dust has settled and the kinks ironed out I'm putting in an order in if I can afford it 👍
I have a water machine in the AT Pro and don't go to the salt water beach more than a few times a year. My debate is weather the Impact is as deep as the Equinox or can I separate in iron with the Equinox like the Impact. From the videos that I have seen online the depth of the Equinox in multi freq might be a game changer. What I would like to see is someone put out a video in dirt of the two machines so I can see if there is a meaningful difference in depth. Thanks so much for the reply, I have looked at the Kruzer too. In my perfect world money would be no object and I'd buy all three.
Madison Maine equinox for beach no problem minelab doing the best beach md... and the iron mask feature none of the md are doing it on the market (maybe some compadre) kruzer will be a waterproofed impact but none will beat simultaneous multi frequency yet, nokta makro will catchup every year they producing a better md what worrying me is that their price are raising every year too :'(
Well, I've not tried the Nox but I've heard good things about it. The Impact isn't a beach machine, it's an all around machine. But if your main focus is beach hunting, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not sure about the Nox though. :(
I like my Impact... if it's there... you can find it. Crowded beaches... is the ticket. Check out Ed The Beach hunter... but he's on the west coast... but he hunts where there are lots of peeps. And on a good crowded or popular beach... you don't even have to go into the water... maybe just low tide.. but the dry sand holds lots of good stuff too. :) Good video... good luck.
William R - Hi there ~ I cannot get my Nokta Impact to work in wet beach sand. I get a lot of false signals where we dig & dig and then the signal disappears. I’ve tried COG mode. What setting do you use?
I'm not near any salt water... land locked in North Texas. I know the impact goes pretty deep with the gain not so high... but I donno. And I'm thinking the auto track...once ground balanced... should be left off. There may be some impact youtubers that make some videos in salt water... , She Detector, here where this comment is located. She may have some information for ya, on the settings she uses. Sorry I can't help.
William R - Thank you for the reply. She Detector did not find anything in the water either. Nokta works well in dry beach sand & dirt. Now I am looking at the Excalibur or CTX 3030 for wet sand. They seem to be the best. GL & HH!
You might take a look too... at the new Minelab Equinox 800 A water proof machine just released by minelab. Totally water proof. about 1/2 the price of a 30/30 A tuber named gravediggermax has 1 he makes videos on. It's going to be my next machine... come July. ;) Good Luck
Hi! Why dont you test some top notch detectors on the marker? If you get some sponsers from famouse companies they can send you their machin to test and advertise as well, Minelab CTX 3030, Garrett ATX, and many more ......
You should get yourself a sling to prevent you from accidently dunking one of your non waterproof detectors and ruining them. Very cheap from Amazon. Also helps save your shoulder if the detector is heavy! I always use one even though my Garrett is waterproof to 10 feet just to save wear and tear on the shoulder especially if I use a big coil. You can also hunt a lot longer as in two to three hours and not just one. Also stick one of your spare detectors in your hubby's hands along with all the other necessary gear, shovel, locator, pouch, etc! Since you have all the spare gear already no need to buy extra. Give him the Sea Hunter or Minelab so you don't need an extra sling. 2 people can find more than one. He can get wet while you stay warm and dry!😉😊 Cameras are cheap and an action cam on his cap bill will give more video to edit, but you can handle it. Put him to work! He needs to earn his keep! Since he found a gold ring in your back yard he should be capable of finding gold and silver on the beach😉! Remember to have one drink before you get busy and a maximum of two! Have fun you guys!😉😊😊😊😊😊
James.. i like the way you think..And if i may add i guess should give the hubby a beer then tell him he gets a 2nd one after your done for the day ,as that way he has an incentive to keep helping you.;-)
Yea, I've thought about that in the past but honestly, when I'm near the water with a machine that's not waterproof, I never take the arm cuff off. It's better safe than sorry! :) But yea, saving the shoulder is for sure a plus! Hahaha, yea, I've tried getting him to detect with me but he's not really interested. Hahaha! I'm sure he would find all the gold and I'd come home with nothing but bottle caps :( Hahaha!
She Detector one more thing you seem to not be as patient as you have to be be to find the gold-it is hard! That and your Hubby is very lucky! I have not found a lot of gold, but the AT-Pro is a real good silver detector so I have found 11 silver rings and 3 silver necklaces. Usually the only ring I wear is the stainless steel band I found way up high on the one beach were I have not found much other than change around the chairs. If I loose it I don't care that much. I do keep looking there as someday someone will lose on there. It's time for the snowbirds to start trickling back up north so the beaches popular with the Canadians will stop producing, but keep using the different detectors and you may find some odd stuff. Test an Equinox as I think that will be killer for you. It will match or better the XP Deus on the beach I am pretty sure. You won't need a strap for it as it is light.
You go through way too much different gear I assume it's for ads or sponsorship? Cause after about 5 or 10 detectors you should have found a reliable one.
Well I do have a few sponsors but they let me test out different machines to see how they handle at the beach. Most aren't beach specific machines so companies let me test them out just to see how they behave at the beaches. The ones that are waterproof want me to test them in saltwater. Big difference in saltwater and freshwater. I have a reliable machine already, it's my Excalibur II for beach hunting. :)
Hey , im problem with impact for ground balance on salt beach its continious noise when swaping & keys not working can u help me to sall it?
The medal piece is from a pocket knife. Good effort on the test of equipment. See you again soon and wish you success with the test and finding treasure.

Oh wow, that's really amazing! I'm glad you had those memories refreshed and I'm even more glad I was able to raise your spirits some. :)
Love your testing vids, they keep me researching detectors. Keep it up shedetector.

the piece with the three little holes and fake wood grain is part of a old pocket knife. Good video
The pocket knife part is more than likely Stainless Steel. Great review video. Thanks for sharing. HH
That silver looking piece with the three holes is from a pocket knife I had one just like it.
Have you given up on the deus??? The silver thing at 19:55 is a scale(side bit) from a pocket knife and could be silver would be a good idea to check that Mark keep the video comes GL&HH Simon
yes pocket knife, looks like and old ka bar or cammilus? awfully familiar looking to me, I guess its nickel.
Ya i have to agree with you on the side plate for a pocket knife.as thats what i thought it was .
Not a chance! :) Next weeks video will be of the Deus. I'm bouncing around between the machines. I'll be adding another to the mix soon too. Not next week, but the following week probably. :) Yea, I think you're right about the part being from a pocket knife. :)

Yesssss new channel to follow lol just bought a metal detector and a gold panning kit
Hahaha, well thanks for watching! :) Oh awesome! I've wanted to try gold panning, it looks really fun. :)
thanks for the hunt She D. yes part of a pocket knife.

Wowzer another She Detector video...
Awesome video I love the beaches
Good one, again, She Detector. Keep it up! Somewhere out there in all that sand in a heavy nugget ring just calling your name out.
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Hahaha, I sure hope so! I'm going to find it if it's out there! :D
Sweet adventure must be cold out or u got a cold hopefully just cold again thanks keep the videos coming
Yea, we had a few days of chilly weather so I had to bundle up. 60 in Florida is very cold for us! :D
Dear Queen of the watermelons .. As I say you are the legendary of digger's . nokta machine is great and at very soon it will be ready to be a waterproof machine so the Marko kruzer is good also and together have amazing targets recovery . god bless you Queen . regards

That was a pocket knife side grip. Still nokta was okay out there! Nice video! 👍
la pieza de metal con 3 agujeros ( 3 holes )es parte de una navaja (pocket knife protector )
that silver coloured bit wasn't off a pocket knife was it? You gave that detector a good trail.
Yea, I think it probably was. It makes sense really. :)
I have not been successful finding targets with the Nokta Impact in wet sand or shallow beach water. I have tried COG mode, but it’s not working for me.
GOOD HUNT SHE. HOPE YOU CAN FIND SOME MORE JEWELRY SOON.
Love your reviews!
good video thank you for sharing
Do any of these metal detectors have video recording or picture taking features?
love to see you try an ace 300 good videos
Yea, maybe I'll get my hands on one in the future. :) Thanks! And thank you for watching.
Buen vídeo que tengas grandes prospecciones suerte
Hello tell me how to do the ground balance the metal detectór makro impact please thanks
Cool video
Hi She Detector, the impact looks nice but for the money i would rather take something thats a little bit tougher build!
Hi! It's built really well actually. But, if you're a beach hunter, there are many other machines I would purchase for that kind of money. The Impact is a great machine, but it's not a beach machine primarily.
Nice Hunt 😀👍
Hola Miss She Detector ♥️
part of a jack knife
I am contemplating buying an Impact or Equinox 800. Do you have an opinion either way?

ONE MORE NICE VIDEO ...!!! KEEP GOING ..
Fun video.....
Greetings from India
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Hello all the way in India!
Love the video
Your 3 holed thing is the side of a pocket knife handle.
I love how its 80+ in Clearwater and your wearing a hoodie...lol
Hahaha, it's chilly in the mornings. It starts off at like 60! :O Lol!
I like my Impact... if it's there... you can find it. Crowded beaches... is the ticket. Check out Ed The Beach hunter... but he's on the west coast... but he hunts where there are lots of peeps. William R ~ Good idea ~ 🌸 Best wishes for treasure hunting in Texas!
Is that at Fred Howard park
Yep, it sure is. :)
Hi! Why dont you test some top notch detectors on the marker? If you get some sponsers from famouse companies they can send you their machin to test and advertise as well, Minelab CTX 3030, Garrett ATX, and many more ......
Yea, I've thought about it. But a bunch of people don't really like those because they are SO expensive. But maybe one day I'll try them out. :)
I agree with the big man, the silver thingy belongs to a pocket knife.
Good luck next time on your water detecting.
Good hunts always good to find something different
Metal detecting on a beautiful, white sand beach. I can think of worse places to metal detect!.
What happened to the deus?
I still have it and am still testing it. I'm switching back and forth between the two and I'll be adding a third to the mix in two weeks. :)
You should get yourself a sling to prevent you from accidently dunking one of your non waterproof detectors and ruining them. Very cheap from Amazon. James.. i like the way you think..And if i may add i guess should give the hubby a beer then tell him he gets a 2nd one after your done for the day ,as that way he has an incentive to keep helping you.;-)
Yea, I've thought about that in the past but honestly, when I'm near the water with a machine that's not waterproof, I never take the arm cuff off.
Lol! I like it!
She Detector you can change the sling from machinetomachine also!
Looks like the 3 hole metal object is part of a pocket knife.
That long metal piece looks like a handle from a pocket knife
👍fajna jesteś🙋 pozdrowienia z Polski.
Thank you! And hello all the way in Poland!
👍
It’s the side of a pocket knife.
Side plate for a pocket knife.
Looks like part of a pocket knife handle.
Can I hunt in your backyard? There's got to be more gold!
Hahaha! I'm sure my hubby will find it after just watching for like 30 seconds. Beginners luck! Hahaha.
You go through way too much different gear I assume it's for ads or sponsorship? Cause after about 5 or 10 detectors you should have found a reliable one.

It goes to a pocket knife. Suppose to be decorative.
It's junk.
