Great reaction guys! Just a quick history, the Inquisitors or Inquisitorius is an organization made of former Jedi who became disillusioned with the Jedi Order. The Grand Inquisitor is the leader and reports directly to Darth Vader. The others are titled Brother or sister with numbering status. All Inquisitors are trained in the dark side, but are not full fledged Sith Lords.
Here’s a list of every Inquisitor so far in Star Wars content just so you guys are aware:

When Leia was face to face with Governor Tarkin, her captor, her first words were “Governor Tarkin, I should’ve expected you were holding Vader’s leash. I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board.” She said this with Vader standing directly behind her. She has always been spunky and a little mean.
The reason he didn't want to use force because it's like it's a signal on the radar, remember he's trying to be incognito in the force
I really enjoyed the Kenobi show, and while I understand the criticisms, this show to me felt very much like a nostalgic Star Wars show. Great video, always love hearing your thoughts on things as well, looking forward to more reactions!
The Inquisitors are all titled “sister” or “brother”, with the exception of the Grand Inquisitor. Reva is the Third sister, and the other inquisitor is Fifth Brother. They’re all in line for the title of Grand Inquisitor, with both Second Sister and Ninth Sister being in the video game Jedi: Fallen Order.
The Girl with the pink hair who tries to sell things to Obi-Wan is Ewan McGregor's Daughter in real Life, Ewan's Uncle was X Wing pilot Wedge Antilles in the Original Trilogy

I don’t think Obi-wan was relieved that anakin lived more or so filled with regret and guilt since Vader is the enforcer of the empire, so Vader is practically the reason the empire is so in control (palpatine is the political force really)

Just so you know the separatists were destroyed 10 years ago. This is about 10 years before episode 4 a new hope. Those guys are Inquisitors a Jedi hunting force trained by Vader to help destroy what’s left of the Jedi.

You guys will definitely have to watch Star Wars Rebels and react to it. Definitely do it before you watch the new Ashoka series!! Because Ashoka is pretty much a season 5. Also you will find this show even better after getting attached to the rebels crew

I feel like the series does a great job showing a version of Obi-Wan that is broken, defeated in spirit, and coping with PTSD to the best of his ability while trying to remain anonymous. It takes the arc of the entire series to tell the story so I won't be too judgemental about how they choose to pace the story or the foundational work of the first episode. I liked the overall series. I think the first two episodes were a solid beginning to this leg of Obi-Wan's story.
There are some nice cameos in Star Wars shows that most will miss. Like the girl that gave Obi Wan the drugs was Ewan McGregor's real life daughter. Mark Hamil does a few voices, so does Dave Filoni and Sam Witwer who does the voice of Maul in Clone Wars and is Starkiller in the game. Witwer has done voices in all the Star Wars shows.
have tbh this wasn't my fav show but seeing you 2, enjoy it like this it's pretty great.

Just a little note, the girl that gives Obiwan the drugs at the begining of ep 2 is Ewan McGregors (Obiwans) daughter Esther Rose McGregor
I like the beginning and the end and there's a lot of cool moments in between. The middle gets a little noodley narratively but I really like all the Leia/Ben stuff and the [SPERLER] stuff.

It's really not.
Leia is the only person that told Lord Darth Vader off multiple times and lived. Perhaps he always knew she should be protected but he didn’t know why.
Maybe too much Pad Mei in her??
Think you missed one other point about having the speech right before Obi-Wan’s first appearance. All Jedi abide by the code - to do good, protect those in need. The opposition mock it as an ‘itch’. When Obi-Wan sees a bad deed in front of him, he does nothing. You’re being led to wonder, is Obi-Wan still a Jedi?
I understand some of the criticisms for this show, but I absolutely loved it. The end of episode 2 gives me goosebumps to this day. Can't wait for you guys to see the rest of this

Once you finish The Clone Wars series and Star Wars Rebels, some more things in this show (& other live action shows like The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, etc), including some characters, will make more sense. All the movies, animated shows, live action shows, games, animated shorts, comics and novels fit all together to make 1 seamless big picture and 1 big continuous, interconnected story of the Star Wars universe.
Y'all got to convince this man to react to invincible the show!!!! He won't regret it

So excited to see you guys react to this! Obi-Wan has always been my favorite SW character and I think the show, while not perfect is overall enjoyable and well done. I hope you guys will try and watch The Mandalorian at some point too as it is an excellent Star Wars universe series.
Something that always hits the feels is that Ben buried both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker’s lightsabers since in his mind, both were dead. Even more so, buried on the planet they first met.
Love the reaction rico, responding to if I liked it or not, I enjoyed most of the series especially the last two episodes but it definitely had some corny moments that didn’t really fit, overall 7/10

i was on the exact same page as you in watching this. he's broken and he's cut himself off from the force and like you guys were saying, who wouldn't be after everything that happened in RotS. i think it was pretty mixed reception from fans, in general. i really liked this look into Ben's journey tho. and meeting young Leia. It certainly isn't a perfect show, but there are some epic moments to come and some real emotional beats that make it worth the journey.
after clone wars, i recommend watching rebels specially if you plan to watch Ahsoka try to get thru rebels first. it's only 4 season and a really great show. feels a little episode-of-the-week in the beginning, but i promise it's all foundational - things that seemed like a trivial romp early on become super relevant later on. and you learn a lot more about the inquisitors.

I don't think he's reacted to it yet. He had a lot to react to that needs to pass copyright. And it will be on Patreon first so you'll have to wait a while for it to be uploaded on RUclips. Patience is key🤗
He’s not missing much, but to each their own. More importantly, he and Monica still have Guardians Volume 3 and Across the Spider-Verse to watch.

Over the past few years since the pandemic, I was left surprised by how emotional reactors felt watching Order 66 and its’ aftermath.
Ewan McGregor had to practice his accent for Obi-Wan all over again to prep for the show.
Also, Teeka is officially one of the funniest Jawas ever.
Honestly speaking this show was underrated in terms of direction but could've been handled better overall although i enjoyed the whole show

He hasn't used the Force in 10 years, he would be discovered if he used it. He is very out of practice. Some of the inquisitors may be Force sensitive in that they can feel it if he uses it.
15:41 not only about marrying a Jedi but she was always hard headed when told not to do something she went ahead and did it. 44:25 that’s Ewan McGregor’s actual daughter. 52:14 no they wouldn’t cause they don’t let her off Alderaan in case someone recognizes her as looking like Padme or Anakin. 56:11 she was strong in the rebellion cause with the force she could sense things happening but not know why she was sensing the things. 58:14 it’s funny all he had to say is they knew he grabbed her from the kidnappers.
I don't mind this series but Mandalorian, Andor, and Ahsoka are just so much better in terms of overall quality. Watching Ahsoka and re-watching Obi Wan is a big difference of "Yeah I can see which one had the higher budget". But I do hope you enjoy the show overall and don't let my views put you off the show. So far Andor and Ahsoka have been my favourites, Ahsoka so far has been everything I wanted in a live action Rebels.
They aren't. And no one cares about that last one. Some meaningless character we barely saw. Disney trying to milk my all time fav franchise. I won't watch it.
Ahsoka sucks so far, dialogue wrote for 6 year olds that can't follow the basic storyline, obvious character errors/flaws in plans to push the story without any good storytelling

They both look about the same in terms of budget. It’s wild how things that are fine in other SW shows is somehow unforgivably “bad” here. It’s clear that both shows are using Stagecraft sets but for some reason it’s “high budget” in Ahsoka but when it’s used in Kenobi, people whine “They didn’t shoot on location! DISNEY DOESN’T CARE ABOUT QUALITY!!!” Such hypocrites.
@@ISavantYou focus on what you want to. That scene is no goofier than a lot of things in Star Wars. Han Solo actually bamboozled a stormtrooper by tapping him on the shoulder from behind and running the other way. But somehow people can overlook this in ROTJ but find it utterly unforgivable in Kenobi. Yes it’s kinda silly but that’s what makes it so reminiscent of the OT. People forget how corny, pulpy and even campy Star Wars really is.
This show gave us so many great moments, many of which add to the films, even just in this episode. We finally got to see how Leia was brought up, how her father was an ally to the Jedi and what Alderaan was like, making its destruction all the more tragic in Ep.4. We see that Leia is aware she’s adopted, how she deals with that and how much her adoptive parents really cared for her.
All these moments but you focus on a silly one-minute chase scene. This says more about you than about the show.
this show is definitely a hit. loved everything about it. Third Sister Reva, omg i disliked her a lot lol😂 but she grew on me a bit, JUST A BIT. Loved Ewan McGregor coming back to play Obi Wan Kenobi, ever since the prequel trilogy! Was so long ago!

3:24 if that was the case then they should have sent Leia to Naboo. It never made any sense why she was a princess.
I'm sure someone will bring up the chase scene, but for me, yes it was a little hokey and I get why some people didn't like it. However, as a father of two fearless, daredevil, crafty daughters, I can tell you that chase scene was a lot closer to reality than one would think.
I like your reactions but you guys really talk over the story way to much and miss things in the process.
