Doesn't Ren just come across as the sweetest guy? I'm still going down the rabbit hole, and usually Ren makes me cry. Or at least think. This one just makes me smile.
I a few years older the happy nostalgia that this song brings back is real, aside from the floppy disc hell. I never knew if I saved my assignments properly lol. Ren, I love your music and I'm so glad you were put on this earth. I found out I was in stage three chronic Lyme disease because of your sic boi album. This rural Texas chick only wishes the best for you, and I was so happy to see you were happy and smiling on your birthday this year. I've been a quite fan on the sidelines but I'm excited to join your Patreon next week.
I chose to keep on living with all the best stuff of the 90’s still in my life. Bought my girl a Furby, we have tons of rubics cubes, ah I could go on a lot… I remember having a lot of fun with sling shots and yard darts.
I'm extremely happy to found Ren. His music is very unique, playful and powerful with a range of styles and messages. I will look forward to when he makes it big time because his hard work needs to be acknowledged.
He's finally making it big with that recent 1milliion subscribers met, & the crazy millions of plays/views on a handful of his slappers he's had out. The dude is going straight to the top & I'm just glad that I jumped on his sh*t right here in the beginning. I love to see all of his styles put into play & just go absolutely off the rector with his lyrical slaughter the way he does it. Its just one of a kind & I can't stop wanting more! "Down To The Beat" being just dropped is a great example of his unique, murderous, oneofakind, slappers that is something in which everybody should give a chance to listen to. Trust me it's your loss if you don't.
I was a teen and young adult in the 90s and that was definitely the best decade especially for music, movies and video games. It's great to see this 90s nostalgia again through your eyes.
born in '89 and yes the 90s were the best - i'm so happy i grew up in the 90s - love how many wonderful memories this song shakes loose. Keep sharing the love Ren!!!!
I was born in 86 and omfg this song literally touches on everything! TMNT is the only thing that he doesn't mention that i was personally into... other than that he nails all the trends and does so while remaining the lyrical genius that he is. Ren, youre a monster! So glad i discovered you and your music.
How the f##k has this only got 112k views!!?? The lyrics are superb! I was born in 1993 and this song/video really took me back to my childhood.. thoroughly enjoied it and made me feel very nostalgic throughout.. LOVED IT!!
I was actually born in 1980, but my teen years were in the 90's, and I just love all of the references, I just think it's a great song. It makes me smile. 😊
Brilliantly put together... I remember doing everyone of those things as a kid being born in 1985! So, I managed to experience all of this from 5 to 15 years old.. I remember secretly staying up all night down stairs hammering Alex The Kidd on the master system in 1995.. also had a mental amount of POG's as well.😁😍.. Really familiarised my childhood with this song 🎵 🥰👏🏼 Another quality bit of work yourself Ren ❤️🔥💥🔥
My 2020 Covid lockdown treat to ME is playing Calvin 'arris 80s followed immediately by Ren 1990s. I'm screwed, but then again I was born in the [NETWORK DISCONNECTED]
Omg, yes! People talk shit about the 90s all the time, it's about time someone praised those years :D I was born 1992 myself. I relate to this song big time. Also, this just officially became my go-to song when I'm feeling down.
This is where my deep dive has landed me today, and all I can say is "YES!!!" And I say that as someone who found the 90s shit (with the possible exception of Thursday nights on BBC 2).
What was on Thursday on BBC 2? I never owned a TV most of the 1990s, it is kind of my lost decade, working dead end jobs, being laid off every few months, constantly looking for affordable place to rent and being flat broke . Though I remember most stuff from the above video from the 80s too. The 90 s weren't a bad decade to be a child, but they were shit for those new to the workplace, I would be super happy and start a job only to find out the reason there was a job available is everyone else had left because they hadn't been paid for months, my record was 9 times in one year, I only survived temping as a dishwasher. And don't get me started on the poll tax, it was 6 months rent and 1/5th of my income.
@@ForeverNeverwhere1 It was sitcom night, so Red Dwarf, Bottom, all the Vic and Bob stuff, and I'm pretty sure they showed Quantum Leap in that slot, too. I was a teenager for most of the decade, so that was about as much as I had to worry about.
Man Ren i remeber those days pogs and yoyos getting banned at school like cell phone now, brings back some great memories as well as some horrid memories. An ocean away and so many similar things. I think Proust said and im paraphrasing, When i look back on my life i realize that all the years i was happy i learned notbing about myself but when i was suffeeeing ann miserable i learned so mucb.
I could not contain my squeals or giggles of pure unadulterated glee when I heard this for the first time on the bus the other day.... I'm usually so composed. 😅 Ren, thank you for making a freaking anthem to my tribe! 🙌🏻😆🧡
I love this song!!!! And the video is just excellent! I never thought anyone else was closing Lara Croft's valet in this fridge :D I was always doing it! Great video, you remind me about all the beautiful things in my childhood.
I remember first hearing this about 3 years ago and have listened to it a couple times since. But I am just realizing you said "knock door run" and it clicked that in the USA we call it doorbell ditch. Small things like that I don't even think about.
Never mind, THIS is my favorite song. I smiled the entire video, aaaaaagh! Nostalgia, such nostalgia, much nostalgia. And there's Buffy, there's no way this wouldn't be my favorite XD Oh god, whenever I'm sad (from listening to your other songs - jkjkjkjkjkjjk i love them

2 mins 20 secs in, it's lovely to hear him almost laugh while singing - you can tell he's having so much fun with this. So refreshing to hear!
My God! I am 32 years old and now I am completely overwhelmed with nostalgia. Could it be the 90s again? Just for a few days!
