If we just ignore for a moment the brilliance of the writing and the performance of Ren's music, the production alone is genius. The man did this in his bedroom and it sounds better than a multi-million dollar major label production. Genius all around.

As a father of wisdom, I suspect @wordnoise4741 uses his daughters as pawns in his game of chess to push the agenda of his interests, almost acting as if his daughters were currency. Basically my understanding is that he is offering his two young girls as payment to get this song on the radio. "As a millionaire you will receive 2000 if you please get this on the radio."

This is an important song… for all who don’t feel good enough.
I have a habit of clicking on any artist that I haven't heard before when it pops up in my recommended section, I listen to music constantly, honestly I'm not sure if I've gone a full day without listening to music since I got my first radio when I was a little kid, so that being said in the years I've come across many many artists that are either new, haven't made it on the radio yet (or don't want to be on the radio) or haven't made the radio in the states yet. I found Jenny's Tale a while back and I haven't been able to stop listening to you since, seriously one of the best artists I've heard in a long while. A lot of your music really speaks . Music is art and to me art at it's very definition is to make us feel some sort of emotion. And your music is pure art in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us.

Media ,has caused so much insecurity ,and judgement ,for what?False body shapes ,outer superficiality,while the beauty inside ,goes silently ,...ignored ,never appreciated ,for its depth and love ,material ,shallow ,and "buy your way to happiness",a lie ,making those behind it ,richer ,while people are losing who they are ,and they are priceless.

I love all the lines of this song but this one caught my attention. Not only does this touch upon how there's a premium tacked on beauty products (and just having to consider beauty as another expense), the consequences of building and selling lies to people is huge (how can you put a price on people's wellbeing and the way they view and care for themselves?) and breaks people, it really doesn't come cheap.
For Ren to have such a great grasp and empathy towards this issue, and to sing about it in such a way that resounds to a lot of people, even back then? Ren really does make music - that intrinsically human expression, an artform that communicates and touches and connects deeply.
The way this track, as well as "for Joe," has progressed over time with the same love as the originals is phenomenal. What an artist !!!

This is the most "Pop" style song I've heard from Ren and it's way better than most pop music.
I remember when I first listened to this, I thought wow he is now doing a very pop style and it sounds good (I thought I won't like it that much), than the song builds up and lyrics hit, then they are anything but pop.
It must have Pop style, because Pop is part of the described business, where trends and tastes are created, where music is exploited, a business, an industry. If you don't listen to this or that, you are out, you need to have a hairstyle like the popstar, dresscode. So the "Pop Style" also is part of the message. And the tip on the cake is, that they call this "freedom" and we all play this game...
Faackkk!! With teenage daughters, this hits hard, and I've witnessed and witnessing the decline in kids(not just my own) mental health, especially in recent years. Certainly when starting senior school, which has become a cesspit of immoral ideals. I'm a disabled guy heading towards 50, Ren so speaks to me. I have cerebral palsy and I am a wheelchair user. My 20s were buggered. I moved back home after uni in 1999 and didn't emerge from childhood bedroom until 2007, because of many things described by Ren (not exact parallels, but completely get - body screwing you, political and economic system screwing you, media and society telling you that your difference makes you worthless, that you don't measure up). Things far better now, lifetime ago, but still feel it.

Bro, I was just digging the beat and the flow......then this shit got HEAVY real quick. What a freakin message, man. Raising a teenage girl as a single dad in these times could get overwhelming. There's so much truth and honestly opened my eyes into what my daughter sees all around her and some more challenges I need to help guide her through.

I don't have the words to express what this song does to me. I have had first had experience of loving someone with an eating disorder and their feeling of never being enough. Thankfully my now wife is well and has moved out from the shadow that was cast over her and we have two beautiful children. I hope my wife I can help them grow and feel enough and love themselves in this strange world that has lost its way. X

So many of us work hard to make this world a better place for all, but still carry our own scars and invisible hurts of doing battle with a sick and broken culture. I keep holding off listening to every Ren song I haven't yet checked out, nervous that it's going to be the one that disappoints me. And then when I make the time and decide, okay let's hit play, he just blows my frigging mind, gets my body moving and yes, brings me to tears. There is no-one like him and probably never has been.

It's ok to be disappointed in something. Ren is human, not everything he makes is bound to be special or even good. He takes a lot of risks musically and that increases the chances of failure. And that's ok. Failure is a part of life. Disappointment is a part of life, OP. I'm glad you keep listening even though you are afraid of being disappointed.

I think the point I was trying to make is basically that it’s unbelievable that Ren has such a high ‘hit rate’, for want of a better description. Of course not every single song is going to be a 100% banger but I don’t think I’ve ever come across an artist who can so consistently surprise and delight time after time after time…👍

One thing that I find amazing about Ren and this song in particular is his ability to achieve balance through contrast. If you listened to this song without lyrics you'd be bopping around with a smile on your face, it's such a catchy tune. Then you place these powerful lyrics on top and it just does something indescribable to you, but it ends up feeling perfectly balanced as a whole. Everyday, with each new song I find, my respect and admiration grow for this guy. luv&cuddles

The sentiment and feeling, remind me of 'A Town Called Malice' by a band, called The Jam. Tamala Mowtown, musical overtones, but with a warning about how society, is moving, in the wrong direction. Basically, the lyrics, are pure miserable. But, the beat, makes it acceptable 💚

This is such an important song it should be heard by every child on the first day of high school. The message is so powerful I have to send it to both of my own children. Ren has encapsulated the truth far better than I could.

Normally I don't post/react to videos/music... but in this case... in your case I have to.
I stumbled over your music with "right here right now" and I couldn't stop hearing/watching everything from you.
So many people said so many things so I couldn't say anything more... but: It would be a shame to not tell you how unbelievable, outstanding, special, strange AND JUST GOOD your music is.
You do so many styles, you say so many infinite deep things... some things that we heard before (critisism the world and politicians and all this stuff) but you do it in such an impressive, deep and emotional style that (I bet) there is no one in the whole world who would not like your music (despite personal style/sound/genre-preferences).
Somehow it is not possible to describe how f****** good ever single song of you is. The music, the style, the flow... the flow... the flow :) and all this together with these lyrics.

Since my girlfriend had bad times in her early twenties, cutting her wrists, going into a psychiatry had really bad boyfriends... and since our life is somehow a bit rough and very stressful "our" girl has a lot of problems with beeing 16 at this time in this world, having a father who does not really care and so on and so on, she had a time (the last two years) when she cutted her wrists too. Not too hard/deep... but she did it... so THIS song "Dominoes" really killed me... I mean... a lot of songs a killing me but this did it in a more personal way.
Your music is like talking to a psychologist or just to someone you can really talk to. Just because we hear your lyrics and start thinking about all this shit it forces us to deal with it in some way.
I really really really want to thank you for everything you are doing and I hope that you get well soon.

I love Ren's music so much that I'm doing my photography exam with his music as inspiration, I'm doing surrealism on mental health as idea 1 and Ren's music helps a lot to give some ideas, not to mention he's my fav music artist I have a whole playlist of just his music, guaranteed I listen to it once a day or more, I'm 17 this year and Ren's music as helped me a lot through hard times.
