Also extra bit of trivia, this has a manga adaptation that is the serial Debut of Q Hayashida, most well known as the creator of Dorohedoro

I had this game on Dreamcast growing up. I never got far in it, but the artsyle stuck with me. Seeing this vid's thumbnail show up in my feed not only gave me a minor hit of nostalgia, but also made everything click in terms of who did the art.

Yeah, that design would work better if there was a hallway where you could only approach her from one direction; since the arena isn’t like that, it’s at a disadvantage there due to being slow and only able to attack in one direction.
Lee,the leader of blademasters, is one of Bosses too. If you choose going to side with Hakke, you can go to another stage, a headquarter of blademasters, and you'll be fighting against him.

Do hope ATLUS Creative 1st Production Department/Team Maniax will find an outsourcing studio to try remastering this for modern platforms and think of reviving it by making a sequel or new entry.

This feels like a game that would have been really good if it was made, like, ten years later.
It's still good game, but only Dreamcast version. PS2 remake is bad, due to change to 3rd person camera, worse graphic, and clunky controls.
