Same as that Offset Telecaster, there is also the Meteora. To so kindly quote Jim Root, it is a "weird Jazzmaster with a Tele setup." That equally applies to the Offset Telecaster as it does the Meteora.
The $1000 cut off point, eliminates many of the best options from the LTD te1000 series, like the Black Blast or even the '87 Eclipse NT. Those are my current T style guitars.
How does the Nick Johnston neck pickup sound split? I love an actual single coil Tele neck pickup. You split it for the middle position but not neck alone.
An under the radar T-style guitar for a player on a budget is one of the old (90s) Epiphone T-310s with the hockey stick headstock. Great necks on those and the S-300s (Strat style).
The Schecter teles are called PT because... *P*ete *T*ownsend...was the FIRST person to take Schecter Research's guitar parts and BUILD his own tele guitar. True story. So you can thank Pete Townsend for Schecter becoming an actual guitar-making company, and not just a research company that made parts for guitars. Seriously, Pete Townsend assembled the first Schecter tele.
You left out what I consider the best under $1,000USD telecaster models: Shijie TLV Classic, which is under $900USD with a wonderful soft case (worth $100USD), which I much prefer to Fender models costing twice as much. Shijie also makes the TLV classic P-90 model, and in that one you can experiment with different types of pickups, like the T'Armond dynasonic type in soap-bar mount, or Lollar Firebird soap-bar mount, both of which I have. There is a good reason Shijie has a cult following, some of us have a 'few'................cheers!
instead of second schecter, a g&l would have been nice
Thanks Dagan. I was surprised how thick and warm the Antiquity sounded at an affordable price point.

Best guitar channel! You rock!!!
The Schecter PT is already a signature (Pete Townsend). Bigsby’s, PAF’s in the neck & F-holes make the best variations on the Twang King.
That Charvel wins it for me, but I like that Schecter as well.
We need the ebony Van Nuys in the states. My only turn off with them is how monotone the color is. The black is heckin' sexy 😮
I just got the Nick Johnston PT! It's incredible for the money. I've had it got like a week and I already dinged the neck....
Pickups are so quiet.
Overlooking the Sire T3 & T7 Larry Carlton models (as it blows these & custom shop Fenders away) is a serious mistake.
I like it that dagon plays with no crutch effects to sound good....
Dagan is the best
@27.30 what is the riff please! I should know but I’m coming up blank
Love this video Dugan, especially 33:36. I think I need my ears checked 😂.
Schecters all the way! Custom shop though 😁
Teles are the best.

This fun fact had been told by Dagan on this very channel. Twice, to my knowledge.

But PMT don't sell 'em
DAGAN PT IN SCHECTER COMES FOR PETE TOWNSEND LOL...WTF
A tele with a whammy bar is rare and both to my liking
Seems quite odd too me personally hey,but yeah each to their own. I would certainly give one a strum if I had one Infront of me ofcourse.
Schector Pt Pro 👍💯👋👋🎸🎸
A TeleJagster needs a 24.75" neck!!
wot... no Thinline ....?
You can actually get a player plus tele for like £825 so you can get an actual fender tele for under a grand
