I was 9 years old when my Dad got his 72 AMC Javelin SST, same color is yours, Trans Am Red man I love this color it kinda Changes to an orange when it gets dark out, I also had a 73 with the 360, sure wish I had them today, I wanted to buy a other one for my Dad last year but he passed away, anyway I’m still looking for one, yours is absolutely Beautiful
I have a 1974 AMX Javelin 360 that I have owned since new, almost 50 years. It is Sienna Orange with a white T stripe. It’s almost all original, including the paint. I’m in the process of rebuilding the front suspension. Amazingly, you can still get parts for normal service items. I had the PB booster rebuilt last fall, and replaced the brake master cylinder. I’ve been to Mid Ohio race track vintage car shows in the past, and there were onlookers didn’t know what it was. Taking a touring lap around the track was fun too. Enjoy yours. 😎
@@johndodson7800 it’s really refreshing when you don’t need a bunch of special tools to work on these cars. I started out wanting to replace the 50 yr old flex brake lines on the front. Then I noticed a broken coil on the front drivers side, and the rotted rubber bushings everywhere. Geez. So the suspension project started. Coils, bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, chassis paint, and Evap-O-Rust is my friend for all the stamped suspension components. Thanks to my dad for teaching me how to work on these things.
