    Yes. A lot of Spanish words are also incorporated in Tagalog: 20 is also Vente/Bente, Garbage - Basura, Flag - Watawat or Bandera or Bandila… Intelligente, etc… the Philippines was colonized by Spain for more than 300years before the Americans colonized👍🏼😊

    Thank you for reacting to SB19, the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated at the Billboard Music Awards 2021 for the Top Social Artiast alongside BTS, Ariana Grande, Blackpink and Seventeen. Recently their song BAZINGA became the longest running no1 for 7weeks on the Billboard Hot Trending songs surpassing BTS record on that chart. They also won 5 awards on the recently held Wish Music Awards, thats how big SB19 is right now. Theyre the PPOP Kings of the Philippines 🇵🇭

    Kindly check out their other songs, especially Bazinga. This track tops Billboard Hot Trending Songs powered by Twitter.
    Thanks again! And be waiting for your next reaction. All SB19 members are such talented individuals, and truly worth checking out their songs & performances as a group.

    Their outfits were actually inspired by the ‘timawa’ a term used by spaniards to filipinos who were oppressed during that period. And to us filipinos they are inspiration because they promote our history and culture by actually utilizing the arts and language of the philippines and taking it on the international stage. They are our PPOP kings, SB19, please do react to their ballads and life story, their lyrics inspire so many people around the world.

    What's amazing is he (Pablo) also wrote this song, same for his solo la luna that he also wrote. All sb19 songs was written by him, he even wrote songs for most of their advertisement. Yo! Thank you guys for reacting to SB19. They came from a humble beginning. Year 2018 (debut year)... from 7 to 10 viewers then after 1 year they became viral and as time goes by known internationally. Filipino most likely appreciate ballad songs (traditionally speaking). In my perspective, they are known mostly by filipino in their MAPA song in terms of views with more than 63 M views as of now. They hold the top 1 longest record in Billboard hot songs powered by Twitter by their song "BAZINGA". They are very powerful and wellknown in Philippines base for intance on TV news as they always featured them. Pablo is the 2nd member of the SB19 who came up with a single solo debut. The first member who got single solo debut is Felip known as Ken in SB19. If you want you can check it out "Palayo" MV by Felip (Rnb ish rap vibe). We A'Tin (pronounced as 18-fandom of SB19) really looking forward for the other members to have their single.
    PS: I acknowledge correction or additional knowledge from my Co-A'Tin... mga kaps.
    Thank you and God Bless everyone!

    I actually saw your reaction video to La Luna first and now this reaction to What?. I love your reaction guys thanks for appreciating both PABLO and SB19's sound. If you listen to more SB19 songs, their songs are quite different from PABLO's individual debut, since their group is more on the pop genre. I'm really glad that you were just vibin' with both sounds. Thanks!

    Thanks for this RV! Really glad you like What. SB19 is still together; each member simply has the freedom to work on solo projects. Ken was the first member to have a solo track, and he released "Palayo" under his real name Felip. Pablo released La Luna a few months later. Hope you can check out the Bazinga MV, the Mapa lyric video (on the SB19 official channel), and their performance of Tilaluha on #TMPusuan. You'll see just how versatile they are as a group and as individual performers.
    Their set on the Round Festival is also a must-see. They performed 5 songs live: What, Tilaluha, Mapa, Bazinga, and Go Up. They are monsters when it comes to live performances!

    3:48 Yap that's Pablo. He is the Leader, song writer, producer of SB19
    5:22 most Filipinos knows SB19 since they're usually in the TV news due to their Billboard achievements
    6:25 both Bandera and Watawat means flag in Filipino. Filipino languages are heavily influenced by Spanish, since Spain colonized Philippines for 300 years.
    8:35 8:15 Yap. We mix English Spanish and local languages in counting and numbers. When you go to shop in local market, you'll hear the prices in Spanish. Around 20% - 40% of Philippines languages have Spanish words in it. You go down south, Especially in Zamboanga City, the language there is colloquial Spanish called Chabacano
    11:50 Pablo and the rest of the members of SB19 can do solo projects while still with the group. Check out Ken's (Felip his moniker when he does solo project) Palayo MV. ruclips.net/video/4YxmYxhEn2I/видео.html

Please check BAZINGA SB19 and MANA !!

    Our P-pop Kings! They do cover different genres of music. Here’s a list of their songs:
    Ballads: (If you want an in-depth of their vocals)
    * Tilaluha (debut song)
    * Hanggang sa Huli
    Up beat / Dance music: (covers different genres of music)
    * Go Up (this is the song that made them viral but more particularly the dance video)
    * Alab
    * Love Goes
    * What
    * Bazinga
    * Mana
    Feel Good/Tribute songs:
    * Mapa ( a tribute to parents and people who guided us growing up )
    # there is a band version of this song in collaboration with Ben&Ben, a famous folk Pop-Rock band here in the Philippines.
    * Ikako ( a tribute to the front-liners in this pandemic)
    * SLMT ( a tribute to their fans, the A’tin )
    * Wag mong ikunot ang iyong noo ( a song about being there for each other )
    * Ligaya ( Christmas song )
    Endorsement Singles/MV:
    * The One - Dunkin Donuts
    * Pasalubong ng Bayan - Dunkin Donuts
    * Merry Munchkins - Dunkin Donuts ( Xmas song )
    * Live it Up - Acer Philippines
    * G pa rin ang Pasko - Gcash ( Xmas song ), an e-payment service company
    * Sundin ang Puso - Pepsi
    Collaboration Singles:
    * Love Yours - Ohwon Lee feat. SB19
    * Kapangyarihan - Ben&Ben feat. SB19
    Movie Soundtrack:
    * No stopping You
    Members Solo Single:
    * Palayo - Felip (Ken)
    * La Luna - Pablo
    Members: Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken & Justin (All Vocalist, Rappers & Dancers) @SB19Official
    Their songs have deep lyrics and meaning, very worth to get a deeper understanding. I would suggest to do their lyric videos first in your reactions (all their lyric videos and MVs have legit english subtitles) and then react to either the official MV of the song or a live performance of that song. Their live performances are better and great. I would also suggest for you to react to the dance practice videos of their songs especially Go Up since this is the dance video that made them go viral but simultaneously after reacting to the original dance video you may wanna check out the Go up 2x speed dance challenge. It will blow your mind.

    General Filipinos know how to count in Spanish (uno, dos, tres..) but we also have counting numbers in Filipino language (isa, dalawa, tatlo..). There were many loanwords from Spanish to Tagalog/Filipino. Loanwords are words adopted by the speakers of one language from a different language (the source language).
    I think many Filipinos knew SB19 specially because of their hit single called Mapa (Map in English bcoz our parents became our guide in life like a map) which also stands for Mama and Papa because it is a song for our dear parents. There was a point after a month Mapa was released, it was all over tiktok, showing gratitude to their parents.

    Sb19 is kpop inspired. Their company is actually korean that is trying to promote filipino music (ppop), so its fine to see traces of korean elements with their m/v.
    What I really like about the kpop influence is that there is a different ways to sing tagalog(filipino) words much like how a japanese lyrics is sang. And of course, there is the partition of song parts which is kpop influence

      It's a modern era now even if they used Korean elements it doesn't matter the song and meaning of it is the most important thing and also they wrote and choreograph the songs and it's amazing. Fyi they are trained in Philippines under showbt the main company is in south Korea showbt is a branch under them they are trained using Korean style that's why yll say that they had a vibe of a Korean pop group and yea they are the coaches are Koreans.

    Pablo is still in SB19, but he'd always wanted to release his solo. He just had an interview earlier and he said he really made sure he'd be able to release it this time because the preparation for his group is going to be tough this year so he might not be able to find time to do his solo if he still delayed it.
    Anyway, it's a lot better for these guys now as compared to when they were still starting to make their name where they received a lot of criticism, from their co-Filipinos no less. They are much more acknowledged and appreciated now, though they still had a lot a doubters, like those calling them k-pop wannabes. But they already proved time and again that they are more than just a pop group. Like what others already said, they can do pretty much any music genre, since each member had their own specialty.

    SB19- (SB) is for Sound break
    19- is a combinations of area code of Philippines and korea because they are under korean management
    A'TIN (18)- Their fandom because as Pablo said they cannot reach 19 without A'tin (18). It is also translated in tagalog as sariling atin (this is ours). Thank you brothers hope you react to their whole performance in ASEAN ROUND FESTIVAL its live and they will showcase their versatility there.

    Our Filipino ancestors spoke Spanish. The Philippines was colonized by the Spaniards for more than 300 years. Our national language (Tagalog) is an amalgamation of several foreign languages, and 30% of it is Spanish, that's why you hear SB19 uses some Spanish words. It's part of our Filipino language. In the Southern part of the Philippines, there are areas there that still speak Spanish to this day, like some areas in Cebu. And in Zamboanga City, they speak some kind of a Spanish-based creole language, but the most that you will hear from that particular language is Spanish. Es parte de nuestro idioma.

    Hello! Thank you for taking the time to react to the WHAT ❓of SB19. There are lots of Spanish words here in the Philippines that we use. In fact, most of the last names are in Spanish because we were colonized by Spain. I just want to thank you for not comparing SB19 to other KPOP, especially to BTS. If you have time, could you react to BAZINGA's official music video? Thanks in advance.

    This song is in full Tagalog/Filipino which is the national language of the Philippines. SB19 Ken/Felip's Palayo is in Bisaya tho. Bisaya is Ken's native language or regional dialect but he can also speak/sing in Spanish or Chavacano. The group can sing in Filipino, English,Korean and Chinese. Hoping they add some Spanish and also Japanese lyrics to their future tracks.

    I would say there are still a lot Filipinos who don't know SB19 or accept Ppop in general (although they may have heard some of their hit songs). SB19 releases songs in different genres -- they have ballads, pop songs, hiphop songs, rock, house, EDM, RnB. You can choose what to listen to based on your mood and preferred genre. If you like hiphop and RnB, I would recommend Bazinga, Mana, and SB19 Felip's solo song Palayo. For ballads, I would recommend Mapa.

    SB19's name was taken from the initials of their Korean management company, ShowBT, while the number 19 was taken from the country codes of South Korea (82) and the Philippines (63), by adding the digits or by getting the numerical difference, signifying the strong bond between the two countries that led to the group's creation. However, the members themselves came up with an alternative meaning, using the phrase "Sound Break" to make known their intention to break into the Philippine music industry and their aspiration to provide a higher standard for other Filipino idols to follow. Their group introduction, "Get in the zone, BREAK! Hi! We are SB19!" is also a reinforcement of their ambition to become the first Korean-trained Filipino idol group to represent the Philippines and the Filipino talent on a global scale.
    SB19 was formed by ShowBT Philippines, the Philippine subsidiary of ShowBT Group in Korea, after the five members were selected out of hundreds of aspiring idols during a talent audition in 2016 and underwent the same type of training provided to K-pop idols, attending classes ranging from voice and dance to personality development and body conditioning.
    The group debuted on October 26, 2018, with their first single, "Tilaluha". Their initial effort at promotions, mostly in schools and malls, was met with a lukewarm reception.
    2019-present: Mainstream breakthrough
    Their second single, "Go Up", was released on July 26, 2019. The group began gaining attention after uploading their dance practice video for the song to their RUclips channel, which became a viral sensation on Twitter and Facebook after it was shared on the social media platform by a Filipino K-pop fan. This paved the way for the group's appearance in various radio and television shows as well as coverage from different local and international media outlets.
    On November 20, 2019, SB19 became the first Filipino act to appear on the Billboard Next Big Sound chart. They also became the first Filipino act to enter the Billboard Social 50, debuting at no. 28 on the week of December 28, 2019 and ascending over the following months. Jeff Benjamin, writing for Billboard, noted that their rise in the chart was aided by a growing international fanbase, and remarked that it was an indication that "more artists [will] continue to look East for inspiration and a larger audience".
    SB19 is a five-member Filipino boy band who debuted in 2018 and consists of Josh, Sejun, Stell, Ken, and Justin. They are the first Filipino act trained by a Korean entertainment company to debut in the Philippines. They are also the first Southeast Asian act to enter the top 10 of Billboard Social 50 as well as the first Filipino group to chart on the Billboard Next Big Sound chart. Despite the apparent K-pop influence, SB19 promotes its music as part of Pinoy pop (P-pop), a popular sub-genre of original Filipino music.
    Origin: Metro Manila (2018)
    Record label: Sony Music Philippines, Inc.
    Albums: Get in the Zone
    Awards: Awit Award for People's Voice Favorite Breakthrough Artist & more.
