in the future, clothing will be designed and tried by customers in VR before they buy what they want and then they will print the clothing from a 3d printer. A fun thought would be that maybe when VR takes more and more over, maybe there will be an entire industry to make virtual clothing for use in virtual space. clothing will become data that you can download, just like movies, music and books are now.
