I gotta say i'm blown away by how much this ship has to offer. For the last 2 years i was on the Carnival Valor & Glory and this ship has way more amenities. Now after watching this video, i'm definitely interested in going on this ship.
We cruised on Allure in2014 and are sailing her again in Sept this year in the Owners Panoramic on deck 17. We cruised Symphony Oct last year and was in our first “genie” suite so are so excited to cruise with a genie again. Very special as it’s for my 69th bday and our 50th anniversary.

Wow! What a ship. A floating city. I've seen many video's on cruise ships but I must say yours is very well done, flows nicely (pardon the pun) informative and entertaining. Thank you.
Whenever we sail on the Oasis Class ships, we always get a loft suite. Trust me, it's worth the money because you don't have to go anywhere else on the ship; it's all contained on Deck 17. You have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in the suite lounge, free drinks all day in the lounge and your own private sun deck with bar, all included in your fare. You even get free wifi. The loft suites are spacious with a loft master bedroom and two bathrooms (one up, one down).
Great tour! There is so much on the Allure of the Seas. This has helped me make a list of things I want to do and places to eat. I’m so going to park cafe and enjoying lunch in Central Park

Great tour of the Allire! We will be on Allure in June, this will be a family trip so it was nice to see all there is to do for the kiddos. We have sailed on Oasis and Symphony and both times we were fortunate enough to get a great deal on a Crown Loft suite (I check prices daily) We loved it and it was well worth the extra cost.

One recomendation I'd say about the running tracks in cruise ships in general is that they should include traffic lights facing the door on the opposide side of the track so people trying to enter the track can only enter when it's safe to do so to prevent collisions between runners and people entering the track.
My first cruise ship was the wonder of the seas, and we had the central park balcony room. Honestly I really enjoyed it. It was nice and quiet, pretty and occasionally there was live music. But you could only ever hear the music if you cracked open your balcony door.
The layout is not as claustrophobic as I imagined it would be. Very nice actually. Well done on the video. Being stuck at sea with 5000 people is not typically my idea of a vacation (I prefer renting a small boat for personal use with family), but this might be worth considering.
@@scholaroftheworldalternatehist I've actually been on very large ships that are claustrophobic. It's not the overall size of the ship's volume, It's the way they use the space, and design the hallways of the decks that can make the interiors feel claustrophobic.

Explaining in 2023 that in 2020 the ship never received renovation is misleading... we just came off this ship and it was stunning.. and this is no understatement. Surely they brought some things up that might have needed it, but all ships go through this. So guys, if you were going to book the Allures but took this channel's comment at face value and changed your mind, please disregard and rebook. You won't regret it!!
The Allure is amazing we enjoyed our time aboard. At the time it was scheduled for revamp per the rest of the Oasis class fleet. Things (obviously) have changed, I'd actually argue its an even better ship now as its the only original Oasis class ship left. It's a Wonderfull ship, and if we left you feeling like it wasn't, we apologize. We're just trying to give you all the information we had for you to make a decision your self. I have been on dozens of cruise ships and i’ve always noticed one thing…I wish more things were included in your price. Lately it seems like more and more are behind a paywall somehow.
ngl my august trip was hella amazing. I talked to a bunch of crewpeople and heard all of their stories and got to watch the mamma mia musical (very entertaining) and got to climb the rock wall. Ship is kinda boring tho ngl
At the included restaurants you can go as many times as you want. If you want to go to the main dining room for a sit down lunch and then grab a sausage later you absolutely can. We have been known to do this as we like to try all the restaurants. Hope that helps. Happy travels 🦩
That's true there are lots of "additional costs" if you go for them but you can still have a fully all inclusive trip, just have to avoid the extra cost restaurants however they do a good job showing / creating benefits for those restaurants. Great point and Happy Travels 🦩
It hasn't unfortunately but that said it's basically the ONLY Oasis class ship left that has the original restaurants and facilities which is kinda cool in its own way. I don't see a date for it yet either, I think given the crunch of capital on the company they are probably delaying as long as they can (imho)
Not on the Oasis class, but the NCL Breakaway / Getaway / Pearl (I believe) and EPIC all have bowling alleys. We tried the one on the Breakaway and it was lots of fun. Not sure if its relevant but it was the ones w/ the pins that rise by strings (they don't have a full machine). Not sure how often the oil the lanes tho, but they do surely have one! There wouldn't be police however there is security. It's generally sailing in international water so security will detain people until a port in which they are turned over to the local authorities of whichever country that port is within. Hope that helps Ken.

Are there water slides for the kids?
On the Allure of the Seas there were not any water slides. There is a small kids area but not big water slides.
We are going on our first cruise next year. If we eat lunch in the dining room at 12:00 can we get a sausage too? or does that count as a meal?
