The ship is pretty easy to navigate. Royal did a great job with this class of ship. Just lots of choices. Here is a hint. Don't feel like you have to try everything. That's what your next cruise is for.
I will be going on my 1st RC cruise in January from the new RC terminal in Galveston on Allure. Can't wait to get my hands and mouth on these restaurants!!
We were on the Allure a few years ago.We just absolutely loved the MDR especially on lobster night. The adult solarium buffet was very convenient when hanging out a the solarium. BTW ( not to change the subject) the solarium on the Allure is our favorite. The pool has a shower type of jet area that is so relaxing.
We were on Allure early this year in late February. We loved the MDR too. Went there often for breakfast too. If we were not there for breakfast, we were in the Solarium Bistro.
Thanks for the video! I enjoyed your enthusiasm and recommendation of Giovannis Table. We are going on Allure in October and have reservations so looking forward to tasting for ourselves. In my research, it appears that there are a few complimentary food options that I didnt hear you speak to so wondering if you had a chance to try the following and your thoughts on: El Loco Fresh at Wipeout Cafe, Boardwalk Donuts, and Johnny Rockets breakfast, which is also complete. Thanks!
When I was on Allure at the time of production, El Loco Fresh was not on the ship and the WipeOut Cafe was serving basic burgers dogs and fries. I think the Addition of El loco fresh is a great change. Boardwalk Donuts has always been an after thought for me. I’m usually go to the Park Cafe for grab and go breakfast items. Lots of choice there. I’m not much of a donut person. But a good point as a free complementary location to grab a donut in the AM. And yes excellent point about Johnny Rockets breakfast as complementary. The first time on Allure I missed that. Didn’t kiss it the second time. But I’m an eggs Benedict fan. Still sunny side up runny is awesome too.
If you have my time dining you have to make a reservation every day for the time you wish to eat. If you have a early or late traditional dining your time is set and never changes.
Hi! We'll be going on our first cruise on Allure in September. Was wondering if we are allowed to eat at "free/included" areas anytime or are we only allowed 3 meals per day? TIA
There are many locations on Allure that’s included with your cruise fare. Such as the main dining room, the park cafe, windjammer buffet, etc. the video separates the included from the specialty dining which comes at an additional charge. That charge depends upon the venue. You can also pre purchase dining packages for those specialty dining venues on your cruise planner at a significant discount when compared to the standard on ship pricing with no discounts.
Was just on this boat. not impressed with the food at all, even the upgraded places. The boat is a weak choice when docked next to the other cruise lines at ports. Seeing the crazy water slides on some of these makes the Allure look low rent. Kids? was a free for all to let kids run wild on the boat. Felt sorry for them with the lack of water recreational when looking at other boats.
I completely understand the water park missing and the dry slide. As for the food, I would say it’s pretty par for the course when compared to other mainstream lines. The specialty dining is mainly for service and ambiance. Food quality is only marginally better because the volume is not needed and you are more than likely to get a proper cook and better presentation.
@@REX719 Some people think cruise line food is equivalent to fine dining. It's a high bar and an unreasonable expectation with main stream lines like Royal Caribbean. I'm a foodie, and I enjoy Royal Caribbeans food for what it is. Sometime people just need to have proper expectations for the price being paid.
@@nunya3790 If you are looking for a better food experience on a cruise, there are many other options outside of Royal Caribbean that can satisfy a foodie. Royal Caribbean is very mass market, the ships have a ton of people so attention to detail and food costs factor more significantly. Looking at a premier cruise brand like Celebrity might be a better option, and the luxury brand like Regent Seven Seas or Viking even more so, if the dining experience is of more importance to you.
Let us know your favorite place to get a bite to eat on Allure!
Wonderful video! Going on allure in September. FYI Johnny Rockets is actually complementary for breakfast. Not a lot of people know that
So true. It’s an excellent breakfast too.
Thanks for overview of the food Going in September. First time to go on such a huge ship. Already am a bit overwhelmed. Also looking forward as well.

It’s such a great ship and so happy to see A port outside of FL get an oasis class ship!
Me and my husband will be on that cruise! January 10-15th.

Glad you enjoyed the video! We will be back on Allure of the Seas at the end of April in about 90 days or so! Can't wait!
Will be Cruising on the Alllure on Feb 19. We purchased the Unlimited Dining Package but will dine in the MDR on Lobster night.
Unlimited dining package is a great bargain on the Allure.

Great Video!!! one thing I'm going in the allure of the seas... what do you have to pick a time for dinner everyday?
If you have my time dining you have to make a reservation every day for the time you wish to eat.
If you have a early or late traditional dining your time is set and never changes.
Very good tour, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Like the video. Do they have a place that serves crab legs
Unfortunately I have yet to see crab legs since the ships have been sailing at capacity and inflation set in on the economy.
Thanks
Anytime.

If it’s open you can eat. As many times as you want.
What about the attire at all the places you mentioned?
Pretty cruise casual on Royal Caribbean. Even nice golf shorts will work everywhere. No jackets or slacks required.
see you on the cruise on the 29th
Woot! It’s going to be a blast!

Do you have to be vaccinated to eat in two of the main dining areas. On the app it says you do?
Not anymore. The app has not been updated with the new protocols.
what about wipe out cafe
Wipe out cafe has been converted to El loco Fresh.
I was there this July and the food in the windjammer was not that great
There definitely been some cutbacks and quality issues recently.
Sabor > everything else
Hmmm.. Not sure for me. Its good, but I have had much better Mexican food for lower pricing.
@@CruiseSeakers On a cruise ship?
Playmakers?
Not on Allure. You get Sabor instead.
Going sept 2023
