I’ve watched a lot of Raiden gameplay on this channel over the years. This is some of the sickest conversions and combos I’ve ever seen with the character.

One day MK developers will realize we want to see these hands, not these projectiles. Add a small cooldown for certain range moves. This was a hype set tho
This set was too damn ridiculous to not have a run back lol. It was awesome to see Yung in action again and of course Moon, the GOAT Thundergod player since ProvidenceLucky.
Since you mentioned Cutthroat Kano; he can do a 74% combo in the corner and a 78% situational combo( I believe its based off of a s4 anti air in the corner or a sequence that begins with his s4 and reptile's dash connecting at the same time as Kano wins the trade). Pre patch Cutthroat was a different monster; his ex buff allowed him to do 89% if I remember correctly. Not to mention his b1 overhead was faster and the string came out on block, ex buff and knives were more plus, his 50/50s were safe and/or plus and of course his ex straight kano ball had armor. He's still an animal though.
The last time I played Mortal Kombat was on a Sega Genesis, we had to put in a code in order to get the blood. Yes I'm old. My first gaming console was a Nintendo I was around 6 or 7 years old. I remember playing Super Mario Bro's my dad, brother, and I talked about how amazing the graphics were. Now I have a hard time telling real racing from video game racing, I've clicked on so many videos thinking the race was real then after a bit I realize I've been had. I don't know why I decided to leave this comment ? What I was going to say before my old man brain decided to take a walk down memory lane was Raiden was my favorite character back 30+ years ago when I played even though I sucked at this game, that was not Raidens fault. It's nice to see people who know how to play
It would suck to have to bet everything on 1 of these 2 players to either win or lose because it's damn near a 50/50 chance. These 2 players are almost exactly equal in skill level respect to both of them

raiden damage is not earth shattering, he only gets crazy damage after landing b2 twice, comboing with any of his tg specific stings his damage is mid 25%
Yeah. Raiden has very decent damage. Thunder God strings have a lot of hits so they affect combo scaling on hit while on block do great chip damage and meter build, so it's a balancing act
