I’m a United States Marine Corps veteran, and I Love these Patriotic songs ! God Bless the USA 🇺🇸
Lee Greenwood wrote this song in 1984.
Lee has been a country music singer since 1962 and still going strong at 81 years old.
Home Free just released Your Man
Absolutely beautiful. God Bless Lee Greenwood, God Bless the USA.
A beautiful rendition of a wonderful song written and recorded by Lee Greenwood in 1984.
This video was made during the Covid travel restrictions. The large buildings you see at the very beginning are the recording studios that were used since the guys couldn't travel to record at the same place. Lee Greenwood is amazing, he was 77 when this was recorded.
A wonderful song and performance. I'm the granddaughter of a Navy man (WWI), daughter of a Marine (WW II), niece to a US Army Air Corp, sister in law to a career Air Force, cousin to a Navy man and aunt to an Air Force man. I'm proud of all of them
Lee Greenwood said he could finally sing his song the way he wanted, because he had the melody backing of the others. The parts naming states or regions were by singers from those areas. Chance sang from sea to sea - he is from lower Alabama and now in L.A. Lee asked HF to do this with him, and HF brought in the Singing Sergeants. There is a video on YT of HF and Lee singing this backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.
"Land of the Free" is an original by Home Free that would be good for the 4th of July. Thanks
Land Of The Free is awesome! ❤
It sounded so full and was all done acapella down to the jet fighter flyover sound at the end of it done by Home Free's beatboxer Adam Rupp.
I love this song - brings tears to my eyes every time. Dtr of a WWII veteran and so proud of my country and freedoms be fought for. Lee Greenwood has done amazing things for our military for years. And Home Free are fabulous! I am never embarrassed to say I love my country 🎇🇺🇸 Thanks for this Jeff!
Me too 🇺🇸🥹🫶
July 4th Home Free original Land of the free a July 4th must listen to
Great reaction! As a Canadian I love the Patriotism of my southern neighbours and this song is beautifully done by all!
Thank you. I get tears in my eyes every time I hear this.
Home Free has many patriotic originals and covers that need to be played this month!
Yes, Lee was the first singer and at 75 still sounds great. He wrote the song in the 80’s I think and it was a big hit for him. Love it! Yeah Home Free has Tim the bass but also Chance who can also sing bass and sings baritone as well here. Tim does have a 5 octave range so he can sing high as well. You could listen to Your Man to hear him sing those notes. Love this and have a Happy 4th! 🤩
Richard, thanks for another great pick! Patriotic music done well, like this, gets me choked up every time. I’m not a political junkie at all, but I love where we live (SE Michigan), and I’m enjoying my life and these amazing shared experiences we have. Have a great holiday this coming week!
❤❤❤❤

Lee Greenwood is such an American icon, you need to check him out further. God Bless!
This song never fails to move me to tears and I especially love this collaboration. It's played at a lot of rodeos (Lee's original version) along with the National Anthem. I'm usually blubbering by the end. lol Thanks for the reaction.
Love this song. Love Home Free. Great reaction Thank you. 🎼🦋🎵❤️🎶🦋

This was an outstanding collaboration.
My favorite version of this song! So good ~ thanks. 🍟
Thanks to the great voices of HOME FREE, The Air Force & of Course Lee Greenwood .... the Arranger is that of Home Free's own = Darren Rust ! Phenomenal job and incredible harmonies from all. God bless them and thank you, jj
You don't have to be American (I'm Canadian) to appreciate the patriotism & sentiment of the song. The singing, harmonies, beatboxing & Lee Greenwood's voice are terrific. The addition of Home Free and the U.S. Air Force band just elevate the song even more. Home Free also has collaborations with The Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Rogers, Don McLean & Alabama. BTW, Tim (bass), Austin (curly red hair) & friends do fund raising for at-risk veterans.
Lee wrote this song in 1984! He still has such a strong voice!! Try to watch the Patreon video of the making of this God Bless the USA!! For Independence Day listen to Home Frees. “ land of the free”;…”my country ‘tis of thee”; Traveling Soldier!!
Epic!
The low end is Tim Faust the human bass machine
With the addition of Chance, the low end is just full!
For the algorithm on a great version of a great song.
HF also recorded a video of this song years ago in front of Mt Rushmore. It was also magnificent and concentrated more on the song than the singers.
LEE GREENWOOD ORIGINALLY DID GOD BLESS THE USA IN THE 80'S I THINK!
HAND SALUTE TWO !!!!!
They even have a behind the scenes video
CHECK OUT THEIR VERSION OF "LISTEN TO THE MUSIC"
Note to Jeff = The Home Free ensemble now has TWO GREAT BASS VOCAL SINGERS = Tim Foust THEE BASS SINGER anywhere .... newest singer Baritone as main job BUT was Bass singer for "STREET CORNER SYMPHONY" before coming to Home Free ...can do three registers and fills in when Tim goes up (A Great Three Register vocal talent) GBjj
Are you purposefully not mentioning Chance by name above? Home Free is NOT just Tim. How utterly rude, Jeffrey. Definitely not a Home Fry, I see.
They do have a good deep end. U have tim whi is a tru bas, then chance who is baritone but can sing some bas
Chance had the bass role in his prior band, and as he has shown in numerous HF songs, he handles the bass just fine, not just 'some bass'
Right on time for the upcoming holiday. Always a pleasure to watch your reactions.
Wasn't that fantastic ❤❤ #HomeFree #LeeGreenwood #UnitedStatesAirForceBand
Sadly Lwe lumped himself in such a vile person in the search for money.
